Lots of drooling, screaming randomly and fingers in mouth. Settled more with teether from the fridge. But we're only 4 months old? I can see white gums. All of them are white? Is this the start?

I read teething gels and powders are not recommended you can buy self feeders and freeze breastmilk if he’s on that And my boy loves to chew on that I also try to offer calpol if he seems too uncomfortable

We use anbesol teething gel when she is completely inconsolable and won't take anything (not even booby). That calms her down enough to let us give her Calpol. Teething gels are only for very short term relief.

We found teething granules worked for mild irritation

I’ve got a 7 month old with nearly 10 teeth, we started at 4 months, they never tell you about this in baby class. We started with the stuff for 3+ months, but nothing worked - you can get the teething powder from the supermarket and I think there’s a Bonjela for 3+ months but that’s it. From 6 months, Anbesol liquid was the only thing that worked for us, besides Calpol/Nurofen. He has teething toys but constantly prefers fingers or biting myself and partner. The Matchstick Monkey sometimes works, the Nuby banana too but when our one was teething in the beginning, he didn’t know what to do with them, so we had to hold them in his mouth for him.
