Any advice about how to survive in Iowa??? Our family is new to Iowa but my husband is originally from Wisconsin so the cold doesn’t bother him but I am not used to living in a new state and still trying to figure out resources and trying to make friends

I moved here from Wisconsin 8 years ago and it has been hard making and keeping friends. I have made friends but I think ppl from Iowa stay friends with who they grew up with and not looking for new friends.
I’ve met a few new friends just by using this app. Anywhere is hard to make new friends. I’m 19 and struggle to do so. It’s especially harder to find friends as you get older.
I’ve lived in Iowa my whole life and it sucks. I don’t think you ever get used to the cold and then the snow in the ice suck.

I need some advice!
Me and my boyfriend are expecting our first baby in December, before I became pregnant we were constantly having sex as I have always had a high sex drive but now I am 26 weeks pregnant and we haven’t had sex in about 4/5 months. I want to post on social media but feel like it's performative
Need a therapist to tell me what's that about 😅 Like I would love to post photos, just on my private social media pages, and not my kids, more just like pretty photos I've taken. But I worry its performative and like why even bother, who is it for?
I know I'm massively overthinking it but I think I'd just end up posting things and hoping it makes me look like I have a certain lifestyle or aesthetic and then what's the point in that? I don't really want to care about what people think, but then if I start posting things I think I will end up caring? So I just don't.
