I’m nearly 6 weeks have first mid wife appointment 26th March where I will be 9 and half weeks . Then will have to book scan with them . Just reading a lot of people have appointments a lot earlier than myself. Should I say something. I’m 42 and have had trouble conceiving and have had a missed miscarriage before .

Mine is sooner because I had to through fertility treatment, but if you're really concerned, then it might not be a bad thing to raise it to them to see what they say

Your midwife is your guide through your pregnancy journey. If you're feeling anxious about anything or have questions, don't hesitate to ring up and ask!
You can also book yourself in for a private scan for reassurance earlier if you fancied it. I got mine at 7+2 and we saw a little sac and heartbeat, which really gives you peace of mind if you're a more anxious parent -- hope you get sorted ❤️

Mine is around the same time as yours and I’m around the same dates. Normally it’s around 8-10 weeks as it’s a booking appointment 😊 scan normally comes through quite fast then as they book it after your appointment x

I don’t have an appointment booked in yet and I’m 7 weeks 3 days so I would have thought mine will be around the same time. Sure it was similar with my first

My midwife appointment is next week when I’m 9+4 so I think it is normal for them to be a bit further on and the first appointment is to just ask you some questions. They’ll book scans in shortly after that and no earlier than 12 weeks usually. I paid for a private scan at 7 weeks and found out the gender too through a blood test as a bit of reassurance so maybe that’s an option?
Or given your history you could always ask to get it brought forward and hope they do? Xx
Contractions have been regular then seemed to taper off a bit. Screenshot from my app. Is this actually labour? Each contraction is very painful and im sort of trying to breathe through them but also sometimes having to moan. I'm shattered as I've not slept a wink so far tonight as its been ongoing on and off all evening/night. Should I call triage and ask to be seen? Don't want a wasted 40min journey 🙈

Waters broke at 36 plus 4, after 36 hours of labour, including the most intense contractions and pushing that I thought was impossible (you’ve got this ladies!) followed being cut open and stitched back up to get her out when she was stuck, my darling daughter Loretta was born at 5 pounds 5 🩷

Has anyone felt movement yet?

Mums, has this ever happened to you?
My 9-week-old was being held upright and for a second I took my hand away from supporting his upper back/neck. He suddenly flopped backwards quite far and it really scared me. He seemed completely fine afterwards and has been acting normally.
I know babies this age still have wobbly head control, but has anyone else had a similar moment? I think I just need some reassurance 😭

Hi! I’m approaching 8 weeks with my second! With my first pregnancy I had ZERO morning sickness and honestly the best pregnancy ever- symptom free and thriving! However, this time around the morning sickness is kicking my butt ALL day! Any tips/tricks mamas? 🙏🏽
