Hi
Does anyone else sometimes think they’d like a second but then remember PREGNANCY.
I really can’t say I’m a fan of that.
Or the newborn stage.
When things are great I love it and want more. Then there’ll be a sleep regression, tantrums and I’m like - noppppppe, no more.
I also seem to have heightened anxiety - the what’s ifs, namely that the second could have conditions.
It’s overwhelming.

I have 2 under 2. My youngest was born in December. The pregnancy is so difficult running around after a toddler. Your anxieties around the second being ill happened to us though no were near as bad as some. We had a freak accident with a cuppa tea and ended up in hospital with burns at 12 days old. Then we ended up in hospital due to breathing issues which is still undiagnosed. Both times we were taken in via ambulance. However the bond they have already is so sweet and they really do love eachother and thats what makes the hard times worth it ❤️

I have a 2.5 year age gap it’s lovely but defo hard being pregnant and with a toddler she went right up to 42 weeks too it’s very tiring defo easier when they’re here but it was all 100% worth it. I don’t think many can afford it but that’s up to you xx

This is my third, I think we were fairly insane to have the second when we did. Eldest was getting easier but still much harder than average and then got even harder while I was pregnant. I did have a real hard time while pregnant thinking omg I’m going to have to do this all again when this baby is 2 buuuut no, he was a different child and he wasn’t being pushed to struggle so it was hard but very different.
The third just happened 😅 but seeing them all together and grow together is lovely.
And errr it turned out the first had a condition… and so do I and probably her dad and both the other kids 🙃 eldest definitely has had it hardest though. We didn’t start figuring that out till another was on the way.

I have a 4 year old and twins who are 2 on the 13th (there due date was 1st April) and it’s hell 🤣🤣 however… I can’t imagine my life without them, it’s super hard but I wanted my eldest to be a sibling.. well she got 2 🤣. I found pregnancy easier than caring for 3 2 and under but that’s prob because I had twins! X

I’m very much the same want another but the thought of being uncomfortable for 9 months and newborn trenches makes me rethink 🤣my little one had colic badly around week 4 and I was crying most nights obviously I know not every baby is the same xx
Anyone else had a backache and sore boobs at almost 38 weeks? I’m hoping it’s the start of labour and my waters or something go soon I’m so uncomfortable and the thought of another week and half is just too much ( my elective is booked bur I don’t mind going earlier if Labour happens naturally )

So I’m only 11 weeks as of Friday and I’m just already excited to meet my baby though I know it’s still so far off. I have my son already and since I’ve had a baby before I feel like I’m less scared this time since I know what to expect and am just more excited. I also keep seeing tiny newborns when I’m out and about and I’m like omg they are so cute and tiny I can’t wait to hold mine lol. Anyone feeling this already? Anyone also on their second baby? I know the gender and we already have his name so it just feels so real already
