Started introducing cows milk & upset tummy

Has anyone else started introducing cows milk? Day 5 and now baby boy has bad diarrhoea. Unsure if it's the cows milk or he's picked up another tummy bug at a play centre 🥺

Does he already have cows milk in his diet?X

Yeah my little one has had it with breakfast, and in cooking. He can also tolerate yogurt and cheese so I am suspecting we might be on virus number 3 from nursery and it's just coincidence

Yes my baby was constipated love her rock solid started giving her prunes and it then was watery I’m stuck here. She’s had cheese and dairy since 6 months but we did have tummy issues with formula. We are on week 2 she is starting to go easier. We will carry on trying.

Mine hates it and wont drink it its worrying me as sometimes she looks for a botte

If it is because of the milk you can always try different alternatives like lactose free milk and see how he goes with that. Or soya milk. But worth checking with gp

I switched to cows milk when I stopped breastfeeding my son and I found it best to water the milk down with hot water. Like making a cup of tea but without a tea bag! Much easier on the tummy 😊 x

How did u introduce cows milk? Did u introduce it by mixing small amounts with formula? I have been mixing small amounts of milk into his formula over the past couple weeks and increasing the amount slowly and it seems to work x

1 YEAR JABS, DO I GIVE THEM TO MY BABY OR NOT?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

PP things I hate

Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Sleep regression solidarity

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.

Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.

We can do this mamas.

Mum guilt

My baby has a really awful latch and breastfeeding can be quite uncomfortable. I’ve had help from the infant feeding team and it’s improved but still not great. He doesn’t have a tongue tie.

I think he swallows down a lot of air, he always has trapped wind and an uncomfortable tummy, he fusses and grunts all night long, never burps after feeds. He’s always congested and has hiccups all the time.

I have a fast letdown so I think that also contributes. I’m really really considering switching to formula but the guilt that comes alongside that is killing me.

My eldest was breastfed for 8 months so I feel so shameful considering quitting at just 4 weeks with second baby. I also feel a huge responsibility to keep breastfeeding through winter for the immune system and health benefits.

I’m just really not enjoying breastfeeding this time and it’s making me miserable.

Any tips?
