Potty trained?

My son (3yrs) will use the toilet independently for a wee and a poo (I have to wipe him for a poo) but he will go to the toilet, pull his pants down, do what he needs to do, pull them up, flush the chain and wash his hands. He will go by himself without prompting and will stop eating/playing to go. He will also use public toilets by asking us to go the toilet.

He still has daily accidents, maybe once or twice and is still wet at night. He drinks a lot! Is this classed as potty trained?

He's been like this for a while so I don't know how to make the next step? Been to gp, no issues/infections. Advice and suggestions would be much appreciated xx

My sons the same! Hes 3 and Potty trained goes poop and pee on his own, i still wash him after a poop but at night he wears a diaper. I tried realy hard to stop him peeing at night but that meant waking up every 2 hours to wake him for a wee so i eventually gave up as it was killing my sleep.

When i potty trained my son, I got rid of diapers completely (during the day at first, then at night) which made it really uncomfortable for him to go in his pants.

Overnight dryness is hormonal so not something you can really ‘train’ - daytime sounds likes there though? Is it during particular activities or times he has accidents? X

Overnight happens naturally, on average between 3-7yrs, unless you just enjoy having & giving interrupted sleep & withholding fluids just so you don’t have to buy diapers or wash underpads, then you can try to figure out what times they pee & force them to go. My boys both ditched day diapers @18m, I considered them done aka “potty trained” then & there, bc they knew what to do & where to do it, even though I still washed their hands, wiped them & took off/put on their clothes for them, I consider those separate milestones, neither one of mine talked yet, but they made it clear what they needed to do & what support they needed. Mine were a bit different w/ misses, none until day 5, less excited about it & losing track of time during play & even peeing weird places for fun, they stopped missing so much a few days later & my oldest had his last miss on his 2nd bday, but they were very random most of those 6m. My 2nd prob had 5 misses in 6m after that day 5-9, but he sometimes has…..

My little one has been using the potty or toilet for about 6 months now and she still has the occasional accident, still sleeps in pullups and I say she's trained during the day. Has no nappy for nap or going out or anything and knows to go, how to go etc and accidents can still happen for a long time, so she's done in my eyes. Just nights left, but I'm not in any rush to do that just yet 😅

16 month old and 12 weeks pregnant

I am 4’10 and as the title states 12 weeks pregnant. My son will be 23 months old when his sibling is born. I recently moved from FL to MI so my son could grow up around in laws, but that doesn’t mean I have my village. ❤️‍🩹 We were planning to buy a larger home next year but the surprise baby (I was told I’d not be able to conceive again after a botched c-section) we likely won’t be moving until the following year into a bigger home. Does anyone have advice or has been through having 2 under 2 and still wanting to get back into college online as well as managing a small home with very limited yard space? We had planned so well and ended up being hit 70mph head on in the middle of a custody case for my nephew and my identity being stolen in the six figures. We fell pretty hard and picking up the pieces. It feels like Groundhog Day everyday, especially not knowing people or having my own village. My husbands’ family has a strong mentality of only blood is family so I am just an outsider living 1000 miles away from anyone I know, home alone 6x a week and feeling defeated and scared about baby on the way. I felt like I was just getting back to feeling like me before pregnancy began. Did anyone else lose their sense of self, identity, other than being a mom, once becoming a mother?

Help

My son is 18 months and he does not eat pieces of anything he still has pures and little pasta and some lumpy pieces but he will not eat a big piece/chunk unless it’s something that I am having. If I try to give him pieces of fruit/vegetables he will end up just playing with it rather than eating it. I don’t know what to do.

Worried a little bit, did this happen to anyone else

I was out today with my daughter in her pram, well we were walking under some trees to a cafe literally seconds away, well we got there and I saw something on my daughters hand, I took her hand to know what was on it and realised, I quickly held her hand and wiped it down with baby wipes, while full on having an argument with my husband because he couldn't hear in the busy cafe what was going on, it was just a little bit on her hand, it was mainly on the side of her pram, inside and her blanket, which I quickly removed, I grabbed my daughter and whisked her to the loos and did a full wash of her hands and full explore of her mouth and lips to see if he put them in, I found nothing and I checked, I refused to put her in her pram for the rest of the day, I used the baby carrier, I got some anti bac spray for the pram and as soon as I back at out rented holiday cottage I took the insert and anything else that can be washed out the pram to wash in the washing machine, I have done it correctly, I am still thinking about it

Why am I still in love with him and want to try again?

I, 29F have been with my kids father(40M) on and off for over 9 years. We're going to call him D. D has always been a good man throughout our relationship and an amazing father to our two children which are both boys aged between 10 and 8. We always went out or spent amazing time together as a couple and as a family up until recently. He has become super mean always yelling or copping an attitude when it's totally unnecessary. He picks fights over stupid stuff and would yell at the children for things that they didn't need to be yelled at for. Well, skipping to this year. He yelled at me so much to where I have a fear of him living with me. He's thrown things around the house breaking stuff and destroying anything within arms reach. All of it is because he felt he was losing control. He said it was my attitude telling him what to do or me complaining about how much I do and none of what he did. I work full time as what the kids call a midnight ballerina. I also do all the grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, getting the kids to and from school, as well as care for his needs and paying all the bills. He hasn't been working at all. Just been hanging out with his friends claiming he was working. I got tired of him not doing anything. I really mean nothing. I was taking Uber to and from work while D had a vehicle. I ended up kicking him out. He's been out of the house for a little over a month now. He told me he never agreed to leave before leaving. What I'm getting at here is, why do I miss him so much when he called me names when I tried to get him to get a job? Why do I miss him when I would watch him go nuts throwing stuff around the house and foam at the mouth when he yelled at me? Why do I miss him even though he screamed at me in front of our children? Am I in the wrong for demanding him to get a job? Am I in the wrong for kicking him out? I came here because I want someone else's opinion that I don't know. Can someone please help me understand what I'm feeling and point me on the right path?

Screen time help

I’m kind of new to this stay at home mom thing. We have recently done a huge move from Canada to the United States. Previously I had my son who is non verbal autistic, enrolled in preschool and day care, so he was kept busy most of the day.
With the move, I am unable to work with the visa I’m on but also decided it was probably best to stay home with my boys. We live in Nevada, and I haven’t heard the greatest things about the school system here, especially for non verbal kiddos.
My problem now is we spend way too much time watching tv. It’s really hot here in the afternoons so I don’t love spending too much time outside. We try and hit that in the mornings.
I also have a 1 year old, so I like to be home in the afternoon so he can have a nap.
It’s also not as easy as “just play with your kid” well I wish I could, but it’s really hard to get engagement from him. I also have adhd, and since there’s no feedback loop of interaction, I get very easily bored. So I feel like an awful parent on my phone all the time.
Looking for advice, maybe help with a routine.
