Sex after birth is painful!

I don't mean uncomfy or like it starts off painful- I mean it HURTS to the point of tears and it hasn't gotten better. 4 months PP & it's like my vaginal cavity shrunk and doesn't want to stretch out. We can't get his member inside more than a couple inches. Hubby says from his research it's not normal and I should see my OB... I would rather not bec they'll probably want to put a speculum inside and... OW, no thx. On another note, orgasming sucks now- I can barely feel anything & it all just feels so stressful & not worth it, but a girl gets horny! Can't help but feel bad about myself and my body and wonder if other women feel the same way.

I had a pretty bad tear and the scar tissue build up was horrible. Intercourse was a nightmare. Even 6 months in. Pelvic floor therapy, pelvic wands, and dilators helped. I wanted to fix this while I was still young!

So me and my partner have the same trouble but trust me it's not your fault I got told since your you just had a baby it might not be as wet so try longer foreplay get him to eat you out water based lube plus it does take a few goes and dont get him to go all the way in in one go my partner had to go like half in for a while so dont push yourself

Did you have stitches? It used to be disgustingly common for doctors to give the "husband stitch". Just a possibility

This happened to me I couldn't even use a tampon. My Dr. Referred me to do pelvic floor physical therapy. I was too scared to go. But I did some research on my own for things I could do to help. I ended up using dilators and it helped a lot over time. Hope this helps
