feel like im neglecting my man

im 7 months post partum and im struggling because on one hand im the happiest i’ve ever been, i love pouring all my love and energy into my baby and enjoying this time with her while she’s so little. it’s just us most of the day, my fiancé gets home in the evening. on the other hand though i feel guilty because i feel like i am neglecting him because i have nothing left to give outside of my baby. and she needs me constantly so my fiancé and i never get time alone. and then i feel touched out from the baby. he says he’s fine and he understands that i just had a baby and this is temporary and we will get back to intimacy and back to each other but i still feel bad for him. but i don’t want to ruin enjoying this time my baby is so small and needs me. i can’t have anyone watch her because she is breastfed and i feel absolutely panicked when she’s not with me.

Do you pump at all so someone else can give her a bottle of breastmilk? I chose to combo feed boob and bottle but all breastmilk so someone else even if it’s just my husband could feed my kids. Just gave me peace of mind if I ever had to go somewhere without her and even to help with overnights. I get just wanting to EBF. Whatever works for you is perfect! Maybe try incorporating your fiance into your bonding time with baby. Like have your own personal time with her and then when he gets home, have family time as well. That’ll help you two bond more and also start functioning more as a unit. Works wonders for my husband and two kids and I. Just some time where I’m caring for my newborn daughter and my husband comes in wrestling our toddler son and then we have our boy hold her and bond is the most precious time.

I am 10 months pp and this is normal! I breastfeed as well and my husband understands as well. We decided to try to make time for each other. Cause I am a sahm and I put all my time and energy into our baby. But on weekends, hubby and I go out with our baby, but we make that time more purposeful with our time together! It gets easier every month.

I noticed you said you get no alone time with out the baby and I feel that I can’t wait till the baby gets some sleep or takes a nap sometimes she wakes up during our private time and I feel bad to have to stop if he’s not finished with in the minute she wakes up. But I know he appreciates the initiative that I tried. I know you feel touched out but Mabey if you can just push yourself a little bit the appreciation will broaden your energy.

i think effort is what matters most, i’m 3 months pp with a 2 year old & believe me i understand while i do pump and feed which is very taxing. you’re doing great as a mother but the guilt is coming from the lack of effort you are putting into your partner. girl no judgement i go weeks without anything sometimes i push him away from even hugging me because im so exhausted but when i get that guilt i turn that emotion into effort i wake up a little earlier and maybe i don’t wanna have intercourse but i do other things. it’s 10 min or less lol i just put in a little effort to help me not feel guilty

see i agree my job is the hardest thing but in order to be a good friend you have to put in effort and wiling sit through hard times with your friend. now i assume our men are our friends and it’s just 5-10min max. lmao BELIEVE me it takes A LOT of effort to get there bet once it’s over everyone satisfied. my guilt is gone and i can go back to pushing him away for another week. don’t get me wrong im attracted and love my man i just don’t have the energy for all that i want it over with asap i got shit to do (for myself) i tend to sacrifice my “me” time while they are asleep to do whatever so yeah the last thing i wanna do is do more for someone else but end the end it’s for me i feel less guilty

Toddler not staying under duvet

We’ve recently moved our toddler to a single bed with a duvet for the first time. She’s manages to stay under the duvet for the first 4 hours then doesn’t have the duvet on. Currently she’s at the other end, on top of the duvet.

Will she eventually stay under?

1 YEAR JABS, DO I GIVE THEM TO MY BABY OR NOT?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

PP things I hate

Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Sleep regression solidarity

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.

Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.

We can do this mamas.

Toddler being overly affectionate towards the end of my pregnancy

Has anyone got any experience with a toddler somewhat becoming more affectionate towards the end of pregnancy. I'm almost 37 weeks and my daughter has suddenly taken a liking to lay on my bump, talking to the bump and overall being very cuddly. She has also been an amazing sleeper up until about 3 days ago and she absolutely insists on coming into our bed for about an hour before we are due to all get up. Is she sensing the change and the shift that is about to happen?
