Almost 9 weeks PP and ever since giving birth I just have not had the appetite for anything. Not just "the baby won't let me get anything done" but when I eat I can only take a couple bites and feel full. That and food just not hitting the same as it used to be. Before pregnancy I was able to gain and lose weight easily but now I'm trying to gain weight but even eating a simple meal is hard. I did recently just got prescribed Lexapro and am on IUD Mirena, but was struggling with eating even before. Anyone else ? Any suggestions ?

I was the same. Everyone talked about the breastfeeding hungry and I could not relate. I had no appetite at all. I had to make myself eat and when I did after a couple bites I was full. I finally got my appetite back around 10-11 weeks pp. I started medicine at some point too but I dont think that changed anything just took a really long time to finally eat like normal again.

i had the same issue it just takes time and your appetite will come back. u just gotta wait it out.

I’m the exact opposite for some reason I just feel empty all the time even when i eat I don’t ever feel full it’s odd
Does anyone else find that sometimes the baby moving hurts?? I had an anterior placenta last time and didn't experience this but I'm sometimes in pain depending on how the baby moves (not all the time). I'm just scared when I get to 30+ weeks it's gona hurt even more as the baby will be even bigger

Trying to decide if I’m ready for baby 2 or not. Current plan is to start trying in Dec, but I can’t help but think my baby is just still a baby even though he’s nearly 2. The guilt is real!!! Anyone else feeling the same way? I don’t want to have a huge age gap and I’m also conscious of age! (32)

Had my 40 week midwife appointment today and my blood pressure was above the threshold I think she roughly said 144/94 and also a slight amount of protein in my urine. She rang triage to get their opinion but they are currently on divert due to being so full, they said it is borderline so just to keep an eye on symptoms over the weekend. She took bloods from me today and I’m back in to see the midwife on Monday to get results, recheck BP and potentially get a sweep. I am quite nervous now though as I was planning a vbac but have my pre op for c section booked in for next Friday If spontaneous labour doesn’t happen. They don’t seem overly concerned which should be reassuring but I am such an anxious person I can’t help but sit here panicking. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I’m 9 months post partum and a couple weeks ago I found out I’m pregnant with my second. I’m 6 weeks pregnant and have had high blood pressure since I’ve been checking the last 4 days. I had preeclampsia at the very end of my first pregnancy and for a few months after had dangerously high blood pressure and was put on medication. I guess I’m just worried about this pregnancy already cause I’m so early with very high blood pressure constantly. Im sure stressing about it isn’t helping. But there’s not much else I can do besides try to talk to my OB about it. Just worried I’ll be dismissed and told I’m fine.
