Early rising

Anyone else’s baby wake up sooo early?! My baby has always been an early riser and we’ve tried everything to fix it but just having to accept it is what it is. We’ve tired earlier/later bedtimes, different naps etc

He currently has 2 naps around an hour each and goes to bed at 7. He wakes up at 5-5.30. I leave the room dark, don’t go in unless he’s crying before 6 but nothing has worked!

How old is you baby? My boy wakes and sleeps at the same times. I would say it's pretty normal as he is getting a good 10 hours sleep at night and sleeping a couple hours in the day, so sounds about right... depending on how old ur baby is, my boy is 11months.

Literally us atm, he actually slept til 7am this morning for the first time in over a month! The only thing we done different yesterday was cap his 2nd/last nap at 40 mins..
I’ve done the same today so hoping we get another 7am ‘lie in’ tomorrow 😂 I felt brand new this morning

Would this bug you?

My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.

Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.

But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???

Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?

This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Being on phone whilst breastfeeding or holding baby

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.

😒

Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.

FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Fighting sleep

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.

She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.

She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.

Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

Breastfeeding problem

My baby girl is 3 months old now and fights and screams whenever I try to lay her down to breastfeed. When/if I can finally get her latched she is really hungry but getting her to latch when she is that frustrated is very difficult. I have tried to sit her up when I feed her but with the way my boob hangs we just end up in a more awkward position and she gets even more frustrated. Any advice?
