Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.

Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Sorry but tell him to piss off, mind his own business or try do it himself if it bothers him that much! 😂
You do whatever you need to do to stay awake and feed your baby, who cares if you’re on your phone! X

He can absolutely fuck off with that 😅

Aw I'd like to think he means well! Maybe being super protective over baby and worried about phone waves frying her brain or something.
As a breastfeeding mama though, I totally get it - I'd be pissed off! Like leave me alone, especially when you're fast asleep overnight while I'm up feeding the baby 😂
I would send him an article or something showing that a phone is actually harmless around baby. And I'd say I appreciate his concern, but no thanks, and I'd ask him to consider how tiring it is for you during those early morning feeds.

Do one hubby 💯 what does he want you to do sit there in the dark on your own with your thoughts? Nope 👎
Haha thank you everyone, your comments have made me laugh this morning. So many different ways to say Eff off! 😂😂
I literally told him last night to leave me alone and come back when he has birthed a baby and is the only source of food.

👏👏👏

Those Amazon prime deals aren’t going to order themselves in the middle of the night 👌
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Has anyone had the flu jab during pregnancy and feeling absolutely horrendous? I had the jab last Friday and since Saturday I have been absolutely written off, blocked nose, terrible chesty cough, headache and sweats. Wondering whether I should of got it done in the first place 😭😭

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

Hello! Can I ask what do you all think of ice pack pads and do we need them?
