Just reaching out to see if anyone is experiencing severe back pain. I’m currently 25+1. The lady 2 weeks I’ve been experiencing back pain and it seems to be getting worse and worse. It seems to be concentrated to one specific point on my middle- low right side of my back. Potential a sciatic nerve?
I’ve tried lots of things I’ve seen on Google, hot water bottles, cold compress, different yoga positions, paracetamol. Nothing seem to be working I did try some deep heat to help me sleep last night and that was a bit better but not great.
I can’t see anything else online to help and just seeing if you have any ideas on here??
It’s so bad that I’m actually struggling to do my job and sit down at my desk. And I cent sleep er night so I’m constantly exhausted.
Anything suggestions will be much appreciated !!

Hey! I don’t have any tips as I have had back pain all through (FTM, 29 weeks) and I’ve not really found anything that makes it better apart from making sure I get up and move when working (different desks, different chairs, sit on the ball for a while, stretch) but sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t. Massage helps a little, and sitting with lots of cushion support behind my back. And when it really hurts, sometimes the only position that helps it a little is kneeling on the floor and leaning forward with my elbows on the sofa 😂 I did ask my midwife about using deep heat and she said not to use it in pregnancy. Hope you find something that helps x

I had this issue during my pregnancy too. My chiropractor saved my life!!!!!! I’d also recommend shoe insoles, a belly band, and for your work desk a cushion to sit on and lumbar support
Hi girls, I had an emergency c section 7 months ago, and I still have a shelf. I am 50 kilos & 5ft1 so I know for a fact I am not over weight. I train 6 days a week, I walk minimum 10k steps a day, I drink lots of water I count my calories and have a good protein intake, I do daily scar massages and I STILL have a shelf. I want to know if anyone has ever been lean and still had a shelf ???? I don’t know if this is something I have to have surgery to get rid of, I cannot find anyone’s body type online the same as mine 😭
It’s not just a small bump either it’s a proper shelf it sticks out maybe 2.5cm standing side on, it’s not hard it’s squishy so I just don’t understand

Can’t believe how much my baby looked like a baby at my private scan! 8 weeks 2 days via abdominal ultrasound. Got an nhs scan tomorrow due to HG, hoping they’re still cooking away nicely. After two miscarriages this year it’s the first time I’ve got to see a heart beat❤️🙏

I am 34 weeks and 4 days today and I have reached the point where I am so constantly uncomfortable that I sometimes tell myself I wouldn't mind it if baby came early. Obviously I don't actually want that, as I know she's still very thriving in there, but between the sleepless spells and the constant back and pelvic pain I do find myself wishing and hoping for time to go faster 🥲

I’m seriously so unsure on if my water broke or not. I had a bad “I need to pee feeling” as I was bending down to grab a trash bag and when I got back up I felt like I tinkled myself a little and then I was like oo yeah I gotta go. Before I know it, I can’t stop and it keeps coming. I feel like it really could have been that I thought about it too much and a little coming out made me want to pee more but this is my 2nd pregnancy and my water did not break the 1st time so I’m unsure and now stressing out. It happened like 40 minutes ago and I haven’t had any more “fluid” since then. I also could not tell the color as I was wearing black pants but it did smell like mainly urine

First time mum and have my 20 week ultrasound tomorrow!
Very excited I get to see my baby boy again!
How long will the appointment last?
Also I understand this is likely to be my last NHS ultrasound which feels so crazy because it is only half way through pregnancy!
Wondering if it is worth getting a private ultrasound later on?
