So I think my worst nightmare is happening and I’m just wondering if anybody has experienced similar… 2 weeks ago I had a reassurance/dating scan and the sonogropher could only see the sac, no foetal pole or heartbeat so she predicted I was only around 5 weeks instead of 8 weeks which is what I thought I was going off the first day of my last period. I have no clue really when I ovulated. I’ve just gone back today 2 weeks later to be rescanned and all that could be seen was the yolk sac. No fetal pole and no heartbeat. She has advised for me to contact the early pregnancy unit. I’ve had no bleeding or pain so she said it could be that I’m just still a lot earlier than I think but I highly doubt this, the other option is of course that the fetus isn’t developing. I just feel so numb right now and don’t really know what to do with myself. I rang the early pregnancy unit but it says they’re closed and to call back Mon-Fri between 8.30 and 5.30 😔

Hiya really sorry that youre going through this! I dont have much advice on whats going on however if you call 111 they can get in contact with the epu who will then call you back, i had bleeding at 2am friday night and on a Saturday called 111 the doctor called back fairly fast and the epu called the same day too i hope this helps you to get seen!dxx

Really early on in pregnancy things develop so fast and the yolk sac is usually bigger than baby at the start
It could be that you are later and that once you get a scan in a few days you can see baby
Failing that they may take hcg tests
Have you been testing and seen line progression?
Were you trying for a baby and tracking things
if I was later you would expect to see a heartbeat and foetal pole though I think. I’m just not very hopeful at all. I was doing HCG tests yes and line progression seemed fine
I had a scan 2 weeks ago (thinking I was 6 weeks) because of a previous ectopic. Baby was in the right place but only measuring 5w4d, so no definitive heartbeat.
They booked me back in for a scan today (been such a hard 2 weeks wait! (Too many of those)) and baby has grown and has a strong heart beat!
Just wanted to post incase anyone else goes and is worried like I was, there is still hope that baby is growing 💗

This is a potty shot scan pic from my 20 week scan - we had a private scan at 17 weeks and were told one gender. Fast forward to 20 week scan and we have just been told the opposite gender.
Would love anyone’s opinions on what gender we are having?! X

Is it just me or is anyone else utterly exhausted? I work 30 hours (4 days a week) and have twins who are almost 3. I have them on my own 1 day a week, 2 days per week with my partner then I work the other 4 and I am shattered. I barely keep on top of the housework and I'm running behind in basically everything. On my days off, if I don't have a nap then I stiggle to get through the day. Surely this isn't just me? How is everyone else managing to get through the day? When I see other mums going on days out with their children I genuinely don't understand how they have the energy to get through it.
I have regular b12 injections for deficiency and also take iron supplements for deficiency. I don't think they make much difference but dread to think how I'd be without them!

I got sent for a growth scan today due to the bump measurement not changing in 2 weeks. Been today and they said baby is measuring 4th percentile. I’m 38 weeks and haven’t had any previous growth scans due to the bump growth always following the chart and being low risk. They’ve said baby needs to come out ASAP so they offered me an induction. I’ve had this now and it was painful but it doesn’t last very long! Very proud of myself for going through with it! Is anyone else going through this? They are estimating baby is 5 and a half pounds so I’m trying to be positive as myself and my husband and our sisters were all 6lb or under. I wasn’t expecting a big baby. The concern from the doctors is that the baby’s head is 1 percentile and they can’t see an obvious reason as to why. They have no other data to go off, as I haven’t had a scan since 20 weeks where I was 50 percentile. Really hoping the induction works and I don’t need a c section! 🤞

Hey! I am 38 weeks and my baby is always very very active but today seems a bit less than normal. I still can feel him moving but less. Would you consider this a reason to call the triage?
