dysgenesis of the corpus callosum

My baby was confirmed to have only partially developed his corpus callosum w a fetal MRI. Anyone else have a similar diagnosis? It’s been so emotionally hard as the doctors suggested termination. I did an amniocentesis, which just came back clear. They said now I’m too far along in MA to have an abortion and apologized getting the genetic testing back took so long. In my heart, when I found out at 22 weeks it was not really an option for me. But, this has been a lot to process and looking for other moms w a similar or difficult fetal diagnosis to connect with!

12 week scan

Got my 12 week dating scan booked and I’m honestly feeling so upset and lost about what to do 😔❤️

We literally have no one around us who can have our 17-month-old while we go. He doesn’t go to nursery as I’m a SAHM, and unfortunately children aren’t allowed in the scan room.

It feels like our only option is for my partner and our little boy to wait in the waiting room while I have the scan alone. But that means my partner misses out on seeing our baby for the first time, and equally, I really don’t want to be on my own if there were to be any bad news. I just feel like I need him there with me, whatever the outcome. 😢

I know lots of people probably have to deal with this kind of situation, but I genuinely don’t know what the answer is. We don’t have family nearby that we can ask, and I’m really struggling with the thought of having to choose between my partner being there for me and him getting to see baby.

Has anyone else been in this situation? What did you do? ❤️

Blood test results from 12 week scan

Do you hear back from the blood test results? I’m now 18 weeks and I’ve heard nothing and there’s no results on my badger app, I don’t remember with my previous 2 how it works.

Brown blood

I’m 6+5 today. For the last week or so I’ve been noticing brown blood when I wipe - today some in my knickers. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve got an 8 week scan booked but it’s not for over a week and I’m worried 😩
