I have this mainly at night:.. I was checked to rule out dvt…. As it turns out mine is a result of pelvic girdle pain. I’m having physio and have been given a crutch to help keep me stable on my feet. additionally as my mobility is reduced and I trigger two other risk factors , one being an older mum and the other being an ivf pregnancy, i have been put on blood thinning injections to which I started at 28 weeks. The blood thinners /physio have helped ease my leg pains but not rid me of them totally. My midwife did the physio referral and the hospital started me on the blood thinners following my dvt ultrasound .i sleep with a pillow between my legs which helps ease the pain too at night and I switch from left to right side frequently throughout the night.

Try magnesium supplements an hour before bed.
I’m not usually one to be impatient and I do believe babies come when they’re ready (hence getting to 42+1 in my first pregnany).
However, I have a toddler and had a previous c-section. I’m scared about how continuing to get bigger will affect my scar / possibility of it rupturing.
I am booked for an elective section if baby is not here by next Monday - but I really would prefer a VBAC (for recovery with a toddler)
Did you do anything that you truly think helped bring on labour?

So i went in for my sweep today, i am 39+6. Baby is 3/5 engaged. I was already around 4cm dilated but NOT in active labour. Ive been having cramps for the past 2 weeks and honestly feel like the sweep did absolutely nothing🙂. I lost my mucus plug and that was about it. I feel like this baby just doesnt want to come out. Im tired and so over it. The pain is absolutely just tiring me out however everytime i go to triage to get it checked out they say its normal. I have tried everything and anything at this point. Is anyone else in the same boat or is it just me

Those who have experienced induction before, whether good or bad experiences, are you able to pinpoint why the outcome was good or bad? For example what week were you induced at and was there a point in the process that looking back was a good sign/sign things probably would not progress?
Hopefully this makes some sort of sense....
