Baby was head down at last scan 28 weeks and is now breech. Feeling so disheartened. My firstborn was breech until I had an ecv at 36 weeks and I really don’t want to go through that again ☹️

Second babies turn later as they have more room - I wouldn’t panic yet!

Don't give up hope. My first baby was consistently breech until 37 weeks (having scans at 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 and 37 weeks) but turned by herself and remained head down after that.

My baby is transverse 32 weeks got 4 weeks to get a wiggle on if not they're gonna book me in for a section :/ but my boy was breech til 38+5 and magically turned so I mean there's always hope lol

My baby is still transverse at 34 weeks, first baby was too! I understand the fear completely, however there is still time for baby to move! 🤞🏼x
I’ve just had a growth scan at 36+3 and baby is currently weighing 8lbs 1oz.
I have a consultation appointment tomorrow to discuss further. My first was born at 39+3 and weighed 8lbs 3oz (I was induced) so I’m quite shocked at nearly 3 and a half weeks to go he’s so big. Did anyone else have something similar to this and how did it work out?

Last time I was an afternoon elective C-S, went in for 2pm and baby born at 5pm. This time I have to be there for 7 30 am
What time did your c-s end up happening if you had a morning elective? I know it can vary but still curious if there's an average 🤔

Hey all. So many people have told me that I should definitely pack lip balm in my hospital bag because of the warmth and getting dehydrated.
But I've also read that you can't use most lip balms with gas and air because of the ingredients (usually petroleum jelly etc).
So does anybody have recommendations for safe lip balms to use, or is it a total no go?

Hi all
Has anyone been successful in getting an elective c section while also having low iron?
I’m only 11 weeks so have a long way to go yet but already have low iron (vegetarian and have always had low iron/ anaemia). I’m taking OTC supplements and have asked for a transfusion if it gets more severe (not approved yet, who knows). I can’t stomach the prescription iron.
But I’m worried I could be refused an elective c section because of this (due to the increased bleed risk). Has anyone managed and if so how? Did you just push for transfusions beforehand?

Hi all, I had my c section 12 days ago now. This is my 2nd section, the first time around it healed fine. But this time it feels a lot more intense. I have been having stinging sensation and pulling. Today I checked it and notice this lump. Is this normal, should I be concerned I’m worrried that the scar looks as though it’s healing outwards like a keloid?
