My little girl is just over 5 weeks old (she was 2.5 weeks early), and hasn’t done longer than 2 hours of sleep in her next to me/moses. She usually does 1-1.5 hrs at a time, and has done 2 once or twice. She wakes up crying for a feed (breastfed), feeds for 10 minutes or so and then may go down for another hour and the cycle continues. We use white noise & a love to dream swaddle. I’ve tried the worn clothes/muslin/used breast pads in the crib. Health visitor advised against warming up the crib, but as she goes down fine I don’t think this would help, it’s the staying asleep! I know their sleep cycles are 60 minutes so this type of waking isn’t uncommon at her age, but I see people getting 2-4 hour stretches etc and makes me wonder if I’m going wrong somewhere! We do nightly bath time now (no soap) and a little baby massage before bed which she really loves. She’s pretty content and happy most of the time, we’ve ordered some bottles to try and express some milk so dad can do a night feed to give me a slightly longer stretch of sleep, but would be grateful for any advice / tips, or is it just a case of perseverance? 😅 I do usually end up bringing her into bed with me halfway through the night and cosleeping to get some sleep but this is still very broken.
Signed, very tired Mumma 😴

Sounds entirely normal and there's nothing you're doing wrong. There's nothing wrong with co sleeping and if it's helps you get some more sleep that's great. Do you feed in the side lying position?

I had to start cosleeping around 7 weeks do my sanity. My daughter started hating the bassinet so i started laying her in the bed with me and it’s been hit or miss most times, as i would have to hold her for her to get longer stretches. She would like every 3-4 hours at night for a feed now but it gets easier i promise!
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Has anyone had the flu jab during pregnancy and feeling absolutely horrendous? I had the jab last Friday and since Saturday I have been absolutely written off, blocked nose, terrible chesty cough, headache and sweats. Wondering whether I should of got it done in the first place 😭😭

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

Hello! Can I ask what do you all think of ice pack pads and do we need them?
