Hey mamas, my little one is suddenly waking regularly at night for 1-2 hours. I'm finding it exhausting 😩
Can you share your timings please as curious to know other 14 month olds schedules. Ours is:
- wake 6.30-7ish
- nap 12 (1.5-2 hours)
- bed time between 7-8pm
I think we made a mistake today by trying to go out around midday but she wouldn't sleep in the pram until 1pm and woke 2.45pm so I think the last wake window was too short 😩 finding it really hard tbh having to be so strict with schedule and basically never go out if we want good sleep, feeling a bit trapped by schedule atm ðŸ˜

Hey, I think it's a sleep regression because mine was going through the same thing waking up for 1-2 hours around midnight, and it was exhausting, he's also been ill and I think he's teething so it's a mixture of things, I remember going through this with my first child too.
Definitely don't just stay in and feel trapped. Do what you need to do.
Ours lasted about a week, and we haven't done anything differently. He has a 1.5 hour nap around 10.30-11am and then another 30 minute nap around 3-3.30pm and bedtime is 7.30-8pm he's now back to sleeping 11-12 hours at night, he sleeps in his cot until around 1am then we co-sleep for the rest of the night.
It will get better, and it will pass, I know it's hard, but definitely don't feel trapped and go out if you want/need to it's just another difficult phase that will get better 😊

Hey, we’re in a very similar situation. My son used to be such an amazing sleeper, but all gone out the window since he’s started nursery.
He wakes 1 or 2 times in the night then I get him in bed with me to get better sleep.
We are in a funny stage of some days he’s on one daytime nap and other days he still has two. It’s all very unpredictable atm.

Hey, my little one gets up at 7.30 /8 ish and naps at 12 for 1.5/2.5 hours rhen goes to bed at 7.30. if his nap is short (less yhan 1hour) he has a short 30 minutes again at 3.30-4 and goes to bed at 8. If his morning wake up falls earlier or we have a shit night, he sleeps at 11.30 rather than 12. We find if he gets overtired, especially if the morning nap is more than 4 hours from morning wake up! Then hes awake every hour or 2 through the night... Its awful!

(sorry for all the typos, one handed feeding and typing!)
Hi! I can’t stand the weird smell of any of the blue non bio washing stuff. Is there anything else that can be used for washing newborn? Something that smells a bit better 😬

Hi
I need to stop dream feeding my baby at night when he wakes up. How do you do this or transition? He is mainly breastfed but I’ve started to give a bottle on the night on the last feed before he sleeps

Anyone else a c section, co sleeping, breastfeeding mama and your body is just in bits? I don’t know if my bed is just uncomfortable postpartum or if it’s my body and cosleeping/breastfeeding positions. I feel like stretching helps a little but my hips and lower back especially are awful, but generally I just feel so achy and uncomfortable most of the time. Is it just me?

Anyone have a car seat where your toddlers head doesn’t fall forward when they fall asleep??

I'm curious...when your baby wakes overnight, what is it waking them up? Is it hunger or something else? My little boy (breastfed) only wakes for two nights feeds (which is great!) but wakes himself up after wriggling/flapping about in his sleep every 1.5/2 hours too 😬
