Need some advice as I’ve now spoken to 3 different doctors all saying different things after not listening to anything I say 🙄🤦♀️
My baby will be 4 weeks on Tuesday and intolerances/allergies run in the family with my oldest being diagnosed CMPA at 6ish weeks.
She’s coughing/choking in feeds/while trying to burp her, sneezing after feeds, I cannot put her down for longer than 5-10 minutes before she starts crying again during the day but then come at night she’s sleeping in my bed but on her own for 4+ hours at a time, whereas with colic it’s normally night time that’s the problem. We are spitting up feeds and this morning it was projectile vomit while she was laid down - scary
She’s trying to throw herself backwards while I try to burp her. She takes 4oz every 3 hours and still looks for more even though I’ve been told I’m over feeding her yet my oldest took 15oz in 5hrs at this age as it was comfort and she didn’t take a dummy.
We’ve had 2 rock hard poos and the rest have all been very loose, I’ve not actually been able to properly see if it’s mucousy/bloody as it’s always at night time in the dark 🤦♀️
She’s also really snotty/conjested but she was born via c section I’m just not sure when that’s supposed to go away
If anyone has been in the same boat what were you told? Because first I’m over feeding, then it sounds like reflux, then she’s completely fine and it’s colic but she’s behaving similarly to my first who was diagnosed CMPA I’m so lost

Everything your saying points to cmpa. Trust your gut and ignore what everyone else is saying - even medical professionals, would be my advice.
I went through the same and all medical professionals told me colic or he was fine. Everything improved after being on dairy free formula (was a fight to get it and ended up in a&e due to extremely bloody poops) but I do blame myself as I listened to everyone else instead of trusting my gut.
He’s 1.5 now and dairy still doesn’t agree with him.
Also it could be bits of colic/reflux, because both are symptoms of a dairy allergy. My LO’s colic and reflux symptoms improved when he went dairy free. Goodluck 🫶

Did you get any further along with the doctor? My little one is 3 months next Tuesday and has all the above symptoms. Fought for carobel which weirdly made her more sick & mega constipated. Then got given nutramigen for 2 days before they then removed that and gave us gaviscon and said it was reflux. We’ve had to change her milk because we could t get her aptamil anywhere when the recalls were happening and she’s still had all these symptoms. We’ve also tried reflux milk as per Dr recommendation, colief, infacol, gripe water as we’ve also been told colic. Feel like I’m at my wits end & my baby is not a happy girly at the minute I just don’t know what else to do to help her & feel like I’m going mad of all the possibilities it could be. She also makes this very high pitched squeaking sound? First baby so clueless 😩

Fingers crossed it helps your little one out 🤞🏻 & I had to see a different doctor. One doctor prescribed the milk in an out of hours appointment then another doctor said it was reflux. I just want her to feel more comfortable. She’s squirming at feeds, sicking up etc. it’s just not fair on them or us as parents to be left questioning everything
We’ve recently moved our toddler to a single bed with a duvet for the first time. She’s manages to stay under the duvet for the first 4 hours then doesn’t have the duvet on. Currently she’s at the other end, on top of the duvet.
Will she eventually stay under?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.
Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.
We can do this mamas.

My baby has a really awful latch and breastfeeding can be quite uncomfortable. I’ve had help from the infant feeding team and it’s improved but still not great. He doesn’t have a tongue tie.
I think he swallows down a lot of air, he always has trapped wind and an uncomfortable tummy, he fusses and grunts all night long, never burps after feeds. He’s always congested and has hiccups all the time.
I have a fast letdown so I think that also contributes. I’m really really considering switching to formula but the guilt that comes alongside that is killing me.
My eldest was breastfed for 8 months so I feel so shameful considering quitting at just 4 weeks with second baby. I also feel a huge responsibility to keep breastfeeding through winter for the immune system and health benefits.
I’m just really not enjoying breastfeeding this time and it’s making me miserable.
Any tips?
