Boys in pull-ups

No advice just commiserating… one of my twins is in a pull up at night

Yes mine is as well. He has ADHD and is an extremely hard sleeper

My boy is in pullups at night, and I've got nothing! We should start a support group. Hearing your son's dad did this until 8 was the first time a number had been put on it for me 🙃😩🤣

My 2020 daughter still is in a pull up at night. She’s dry some nights and wet others.

I don’t know if this helps or not, but it’s not abnormal. Mayo Clinic says not to worry at all up to age 7.

Also, when I start to get anxious for her to be done, I try to flip the script in my head. I choose to be grateful she is getting a full night of deep sleep rather than waking to pee. Sleep is so important for health. ❤️

It's really tough, but overnight training is a different skill than while awake. Some aren't ready until 7-8 years old, and if his dad was the same way then it's very possible his body just needs more time.

My 2020 child is as well! It sucks but there is a chemical that develops in the body and everyone’s does at a different age. So mostly there’s not much you can do besides wait and know it won’t be forever!

Limiting liquids for the hour before bed is a good start. As others said, it's hormonal and not really something that can be trained. Something that may help is adding a "dream pee" about 2 hours after bedtime/before you go to bed as one more output before trying for that long overnight stretch of dryness

I’m in the same situation with my son I need help with this as well I can give him no liquids 30mins to a hour before bed and he still wakes up with a full pull up

Same ! I ran out and refuse to buy new box so I’ve sadly been waking up in the middle of the night and making him pee

I stopped using them on my son and he hasn't peed in bed since. I know every kid is different. Sometimes its the feel and comfort of them to the child.

STOP the pull-ups, get waterproof sheets, wake up and go potty in the nighttime every night, don’t make a fuss about accidents they will happen, it took two years of this but now almost every night my daughter wakes up and goes potty by herself now for almost a year.
