Umbilical cord ?

my sons came off at 5 days! i would think it’s not too early so long as it doesn’t look infected and it didn’t get pulled off. you could always call the pediatrician and ask if you are super worried

My daughters came off before a week. It looks great! Just keep an eye out for infection and after baths make sure it’s dried really good

They really just give the two-week timeframe as a precaution, just to allow time for it to dry and heal. But as long as it stays dry and there’s no redness or oozing, your baby should be totally fine. Both of my babies lost theirs at 4 days. (Yours looks good to me)

I still waited the full two weeks before giving real baths though, just to avoid any chance of moisture getting into an unsealed area. Only did rag/wipe baths until then
