Help

My son eats perfectly off my right boob. But anytime he eats in my left he’s constantly letting it slip out of his mouth and his latch isn’t deep enough so for the past few days my left nipple has been sore and hurts when he eats on it I have 42g boobs I lay him on the side when I feed him but it’s hard for me to get it in his mouth cuz there so big what do I do.

Apparently it's quite normal for our los to have a preferred boob, so don't think it's just you. I had to go to a breastfeeding clinic a couple of times with the same issue. Do you have a clinic near you? They could have a look and advice from there? If not, you could ask your midwife/health visitor for advice. But most importantly, make sure you keep a close eye on your symptoms. Any redness around the affected breast, hot skin and or hard areas could signify a blocked duct which could in turn become mastitis, so get yourself seen asap if that happens. Especially if experiencing any cold like symptoms, go to a&e. In the meantime, make sure you express/pump to take the pressure off the affected side if the lo is not managing to eat much off it. You can also take ibuprofen. It not only helps with the pain, but would help prevent any inflammation getting worse (and hopefully mastitis).
Best of luck mamma!

I have 3 brain cells and they are all fighting for 2nd place

Hi.
Stupid question as my brain isn’t braining.
My baby is now officially 6m old (happy half birthday!) and I’m wondering what the next step is for using a seat for her bath? She currently has the picture attached and she’s almost grown out of it.
She can’t sit unaided yet, is it the seat I get for her?

20 months old who won’t sleep

Hello!

I am struggling with my 20 months old. She’s amazing but when it’s time to go to sleep she just won’t sleep. Napping is almost impossible and bedtime is eternal. It takes me at least an hour to put her to sleep. If I am not literally next to her, she will cry and won’t stop until I come back (she can cry for 30 mins no problem and never get tired). Also she won’t allow my husband to put her to sleep.

I know this is my fault because I didn’t sleep training her correctly when I was supposed to but I keep trying everything and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice on how to teach her to fall asleep?

Thank you for your time!

Huckleberry

So I just need to ask os Huckleberry worth paying for, I need help with my daughter, she has hit the four months stage and last night sent me to the edge, she took over an hour to get her to sleep, I had her asleep around six ISH on me went to transfer after half an hour, and she woke up, checked the app and she needed milk then she went back to sleep around eight ish on me, managed to transfer her to her cot till 10 ISH she had another bottle and went straight back to sleep afterwards but then started fussing around two ISH in the cot eyes closed but whining, I put the dummy in and she went back to sleep and she did this again, still with her eyes closed about half an hour after, then up for four am, had some milk and a nappy change back down near five till eight in the morning, I have been tracking it on huckleberry and wondered if it was worth paying for the premium to get more advice on how to get her to sleep through like she used to, I am going to do a bathing routine three times a week as they not to bathe a baby too much and then I am trying to have wind down times between half six and seven, I am knackered and trying anything but does anyone else's child fuss during the night? Mine does I said before but she doesn't open her eyes or anything so I pop the dummy in to sooth her and try and let her fall back to sleep herself, I watch to see if her eyes open at all. Am I doing this right because I am confused and tired.

Ending breast feeding

We made its 10 weeks exclusively breast feeding just to find out my baby has cmpa and possibly a soy sensitivity and the dietary restrictions are too much. I also don’t mind formula feeding she’s been doing well with it. We started all this in last 3 days. Any advice?
