Blood Disorder - First Pregnancy

I’m about 6 weeks pregnant with my first and I’ve got a blood disorder (Von Willebrand’s Disease). My midwife will need to work in partnership with my haematologist as I’m at higher risk of bleeding during birth.

Does anyone with have experience with a similar condition? I’ve heard the condition I have also has a preterm risk.

Have you tried searching your disorder in the search bar? It will show up anyone who has posted about it, in any group.

Sounds extra challenging, I hope you have plenty support and that your pregnancy goes well 🫂❤️

I have Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia. I’ve had 3 children currently pregnant with my 4th. I have been high risk every pregnancy due to risks of bleeding, I had to have a mri on my spine to check for AVMS incase I needed a spinal. Extra monitoring during labour. The hospital that deals with my condition didn’t do much at all, just asked for the babies cord blood to test them for the condition at birth.

how to stay sane and not overthink everything

how are we all dealing with not freaking out over everything and being constantly anxious?

i just had the ittiest bittiest discharge that was like faintly light pink, and i mean more light peach if anything, and it wasn’t runny or spotting and i haven’t had any cramping or otherwise. but im so freaked out? thankfully i have a scan on monday, but with how much is online it’s hard to not panic and catastrophize.

would love love love any tips ❤️

Anxiety before find out your pregnant??

Has anyone else had an unexplained panic attack when you did nothing to trigger it and haven't had one in quite a few years? I read that being pregnant can be a cause because of hormone fluctuations.

Due in 4 days

Feeling so bleh, it’s like this pregnancy will never end and I’m just so anxious and excited to meet my daughter. Having some intermittent contractions at night but baby girl is too cozy in there and doesn’t seem like she wants to come out anytime soon.

Being patient but the anticipation for my first labor and delivery experience is driving me crazy :( anyone else feeling the same?

This is so weird but…

Does anyone else feel like their baby is gunna drop out when they crouch down

I’m due end of December and I feel like my baby is sooo big already, this is my 3rd child and my eldest is only 3.5 so quite small age gaps, I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday so will definitely bring it up
