Honest answers please - date nights/going out

How many of you have been out and left someone else to do bedtime now? I know we’re at 1 year but I just don’t feel comfortable leaving someone else to do bedtime with my EBF, fed to sleep 1 year old.

Truthfully I’ve only missed 1 bedtime ever with my almost 3 year old, and that was because I was in hospital having my youngest.

She also doesn’t sleep well at all so is up regularly.

They don’t go to bed til 8/8.30 either so going out after bedtime is late! And frankly I’m so exhausted I want to just put my PJs on and do nothing before a night of no sleep!

Zero judgement on any answer, just wondering how ‘in the minority’ I am because my husband insists I must be the only one ever.

We left our son last summer with my parents for one night, he was around 4 months then, because I was a maid of honour at my best friend's wedding and he was too young to bring with us. Then at Christmas, my partner and I went out with some friends and left the baby with my mother-in-law, he was 10 months then. So twice in a year basically. Both times I have left milk in a bottle.

I’m exactly the same as you, I also have a 3 year old and only left her once to give birth to my son who is still EBF and fed to sleep 😂
I honestly couldn’t care about going out in the evening, I’m exhausted and would rather be at home with my babies

I’ve missed quite a few bedtimes tbh. My parents have had my little boy a handful of times whilst me and my partner have gone out for date nights probably since the age of around 5 months and I’ve gone out a few times and left my little boy with my partner.

I have left my 3 year old mote times than I can count, to be honest. She has been for several sleepover at my mother and sister in laws (they live together). Also my partner does bedtime routine 3 times a week so I'll sometimes just go out for a few hours during the evening. My one year old is still breastfed but also eats well. She wants the boob if I'm there but goes to sleep without it if I'm not. I think everyone is different and does what works for them my girlies are with me the majority of the time during the days so I find I meed nights to work and exercise etc. I also go away 2 nights every year with my sister which has always been non negotiable for us

I have 2 kids so might be completely different. I left my first overnight when she was 8months but she was with her dad and I stayed at a friends. But with my 2nd she stayed overnight from 4months old. (Was with my mum) me n my mum are really close aswell so again might be different. But let ur baby get to know the person first. Before having an overnight xx

My eldest is 4 and I also only missed bedtime when I was in hospital giving birth to this baby. I have no intentions of leaving either at night or around bedtime anytime soon unless there was an emergency personally. We don't have any family close by though.

1 YEAR JABS, DO I GIVE THEM TO MY BABY OR NOT?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

PP things I hate

Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Sleep regression solidarity

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.

Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.

We can do this mamas.

Toddler being overly affectionate towards the end of my pregnancy

Has anyone got any experience with a toddler somewhat becoming more affectionate towards the end of pregnancy. I'm almost 37 weeks and my daughter has suddenly taken a liking to lay on my bump, talking to the bump and overall being very cuddly. She has also been an amazing sleeper up until about 3 days ago and she absolutely insists on coming into our bed for about an hour before we are due to all get up. Is she sensing the change and the shift that is about to happen?
