Why do women tell men they’re late instead of just getting a test?

A lot of women are scared, overwhelmed, and hoping their period still comes so they don’t have to face the reality yet.But there’s also the other side; some women aren’t scared. Some know exactly what they’re doing. Saying “I’m late” plants the idea in a man’s head that pregnancy is possible, and for a few people, that’s a way to get attention, security, or to see how he reacts. Not everyone is nervous; some are strategic.People who haven’t been in either situation usually think, “Just take the test.” But when emotions, fear, or even motives are involved, it’s not that simple. I’ve never been in a situation like this thank god but shit happens and people are evil.
