My son is fixing to be 2 months and he’s have trouble pooping and being constipated. I’ve tried switching is formula to plant based and done the exercises but so far he hasn’t pooped and but once or twice a day is this normal and he is also colic I don’t know if that has something to do with it. My friend was having the same problem but they told us she just can’t do formula idk if you have or are also breastfeeding but I know that helps a lot to

“He hasn’t pooped and but once or twice a day.”
I have major mom brain but do you mean he’s going once or twice a day? If so yes that’s normal.

There's a specific hold I do on my baby and it usually helps her poop. I give her gas drops then I place her legs on my belly and slowly lift her up in like a sitting/crunch position and rock her side to side. Usually works 90% of the time.

Ask your pediatrician but my father in law is a pediatric GI doc and told us a tablespoon once a day in their bottle of prune juice will help

I started using a gas and probiotic drops my dr recommended but I also saw that around 6 weeks pooping becomes less regular and if they don't poop in 5 days that's when to call the doctor. Popping is no longer a reflex and they now have to do it on their own so it takes a while longer.

My 1 month old(5 weeks)baby girl currently is having trouble pooping/being gassy and crying from trying to push but she’s just tooting. I hate how uncomfortable she gets
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

Controversial one and I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I miss daughter waking up in the night. She’s always been a 6:30-7:30pm to bed kinda baby. But she’d wake up twice a night.
However all of a sudden she’s started sleeping through but the catch is she goes to sleep after 9pm. By the time we’ve put her to bed and go ourselves sorted there isn’t much of an evening left to spend with my husband.
We used to cook together and watch films or box sets and chat. It’s done wonder for keeping our love life going as we’ve navigated becoming parents. But now we almost don’t have any down time together.
We get up around 6:15am for our jobs so it’s not realistic for us to be staying up much later.
Has anyone else experienced similar?

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

What are we doing with these 4am wake ups let them play in cot while go back to sleep? Try get them back to sleep? Or just give up entirely and start your day 😂🫠

My little one is about to turn one and I know I need to be reducing her formula intake. She does eat well but there is always a concern she isn’t eating everything she needs nutritionally. She currently has 4 150ml bottles a day. 1st one about 05:45 and the final one before bed and tooth brushing. She loves her milk so I know it will be hard to reduce. My aim is to lose the day bottles first.
