15 months and still EBF and still waking up constantly 😰

My daughter was EBF for 14 months and slept through the night from 6 weeks until we started weaning at 6 months and then it all went haywire until she was 1!

15 months and I think we average 5 wake-up’s a night.

About 3 years old. Nothing to do with needing milk or what milk they have, it’s normal for babies to not sleep through well in to toddlerhood.

22 months with one, 2 months occasionally with the other. They're all different

When I stopped breastfeeding at 21 months 😅 but to be fair she didn’t wake up as in waking up, she only breastfed asleep (we cosleep) so I would wake up for like a minute and back to sleep as I learned to sleep while BF.

8 months for us 🙂

25 months x

This is a difficult question to answer as sleeping through the night can be different. My little one and some others I know ‘slept through’ from a very young age say 8 weeks but this is something along the lines of 10pm-5am. But at that age they would have been sleeping before the 10pm feed and probably again after the 5am feed. Even achieving this status my daughter still went backwards and forwards with sleep.

As soon as we stopped breastfeeding😂she was just under 11 months old. She never got comfort from a bottle so as soon as she wasn’t getting breastfed she slept thru

About 2 years old.

My first sleepy through the night from 12 months till about 2.5. Now she’s 3.5 and hasn’t slept through the night in ages!

14 months and still waiting 🤣

Depends on what you mean by “sleeping through”?
Technically sleeping through is classed as 6hours uninterrupted sleep. Not bedtime til morning.
Sleeping through for us was when we dropped the night feeds around 12 months. But that’s not bedtime til morning. That’s bedtime (8:30pm) til anytime between 4:30 and 6am when she feeds and goes back to sleep until 7am.
I think expecting anyone, especially as baby/infant, to go up to 12 hours without waking for even a sip of water is asking too much tbh. I wake multiple times in the night for water.

My son is 4yrs and I can probably count on my hands the number of times he’s slept through the night! He was breastfed till 2.5yrs but stopped having milk at night by 1.5/2yrs.
Baby is 9months and not quite as bad at sleeping as my son was but also not much better!

Pretty regularly at 12 months and very regularly now at 18 months. We night weaned fairly early when my spouse did all night wakes and we’d only feed at night when ill or on holidays and co sleeping.

The amount of pressure I put on myself to sleep train our first baby who exclusively BF... it made me insane. It was unsuccessful at 4mo. At 6mo tried again and she took to sleeping in her own room, however she was still waking up twice a night and I often got even worse sleep out of fear I wouldn't hear her wake up. Brought her back into our room around 7mo. Best sleep for the exception of still waking up to feed. Turns out that girl never wanted to be away from us!! She is now 6 and has been sleeping in our bed for the last few years. Same with her younger brother. No right or wrong answer, but my own experience. I also didn't have to get up for work so didn't have the same pressure to have a strict sleep routine.

My first was breastfed until 1 and he still is up once a night at almost 3. My second is 3 weeks old and EBF. Shes typically only up 2 times a night so far. Some kids just need more sleep support than other kids and thats totally okay!

My son is 3 years old and still yet to get through the night (ebf and still bf)
I'm sorry to say though ebf or formula or whatever method you use for feeding, babies wake up. It's totally normal for them to have wake ups well in to being toddlers and even beyond. Its rough out here 😅🤣

Mine is 10 weeks old today, and a few days ago he managed to do ~8pm to 1.30am - his longest stretch so far. But we suspect that was due to a range of factors, including a stimulating day at a local fair and perhaps the fact that he couldn't smell me as I spent the bulk of that sleep in a different room. Since then, he's been back to waking every 2.5-3 hours...

Why do you want to sleep Train? What is the issue? Have you tried everything else like adjusting routines, wake up times, activities?
No human being goes through the night without wake ups… babies need to make sure that someone is there

Mine is 6 months & is going through a regression where she constantly wakes up , I’m thinking of waiting a bit as it’s been a tiring 2 weeks .

15 months old

For my first son over 2 and a half years. My second is 12 months and continues to wake frequently

14 months 💀💀💀
My partner does his own washing (great!) and I do mine and our toddler’s.
Sometimes I put toddler’s clothes straight in the washing machine if they are ditched, with a view that I’ll do a load later.
But this morning, my partner needed to do a load of washing and instead of washing our toddler’s clothes with his (toddler had a vest, jumper, and a top), my partner took our toddler’s clothes out, put them on the side, so he could wash his own clothes???
Why not just chuck our toddler’s clothes in with his?
This has happened twice now and he’s never washed our toddlers clothes

Husband wants me to stay off my phone when breastfeeding day or night. He says the phone is too close to the baby's head. Husband is annoyed that I said No. I'm up doing nights and baby's in my arms and I should stay off my phone. Ridiculous. He said i should read or listen to something instead.
😒
Thoughts? Anyone else doing this.
FYI i'm not on my phone all feeds. Just at 3 something in the morning when I have had minimal sleep yes I am on my phone trying to stay awake.

My little girl is 15 weeks and for the last 3ish weeks has been fighting every day time nap, and bedtime.
She doesn’t have strict wake windows and I just follow her sleepy cues, which are usually rubbing eyes, yawning, and staring into space. When she gets to this point I will give her her dummy to soothe into sleep, but she resists it to the point I have to rock her whilst she screams for 20 minutes before finally falling asleep.
She only wakes twice in the night around 1:30 for a feed and again at 6:30.
Is there a way to stop this or will she just naturally learn to fall asleep peacefully one day? 😂

My baby girl is 3 months old now and fights and screams whenever I try to lay her down to breastfeed. When/if I can finally get her latched she is really hungry but getting her to latch when she is that frustrated is very difficult. I have tried to sit her up when I feed her but with the way my boob hangs we just end up in a more awkward position and she gets even more frustrated. Any advice?
