this is the third time she’s struggled with it now and idk why because her diet hasn’t had any major changes idk why it’s happening 😔

Learn more about our guidelines.i think i’m gonna have to call the doctors tomorrow for a pessary😔😖😖

My daughter is going through the same thing because we missed a few days of medicine. Chronically constipated.
Have you considered reviewing the laxative shes taking with a doc?
Sadly lactulose did nothing for my daughter.
She now takes sodium picosulfate as a liquid and Movocol which are both safe for 3 year olds..
Maybe worth a try suggesting these to your childs paediatrician.
Hoping shes able to go in a day or two 🤞 its rough for them, i can only imagine 😞

Warm bath? We use movicol too, also when it’s getting bad we get the prune pouches x
she’d pooed not long after i sent her to bed😥such a relief it was just hard 🙃but i think i might still take her to the doctors this has never happened before where ive taken her to the doctors it’s only happened once when she was a baby after change of diet we had to use a pessary it was horrible watching her in pain 😥

My son had really bad constipation resulting in attending A&E and GP apps. We got given laxido powder (can get from GP) to use for upto a year to get his bowel to recognised when he needed to go easier. Originally gave it him 3 times a day in apple juice or dilute, now he has it once every other/few days. Worked so well and hes not had any problems since.

We also used laxido as prescribed by our GP and it really helped our daughter go easier as she’d sometimes go a week without going. They say constipation isn’t until day 10!! Which is wild. Hers were really hard and difficult to pass, laxido brings liquid to the bowel so makes them looser, really helps. I’d recommend
a doctor gave me movicol but she needs to drink 4 sachets of it and a litre of water she won’t drink that she says she doesn’t like it so now it’s hard to get her to drink it or anything at all
she’s trying but crossing her legs and almost holding it in she won’t let me sit her on the potty or anything idk what to do i can see it’s there but she’s like refusing to let it out cause it hurts so much and won’t let me do anything she needs a suppository so i’m gonna have to wait until tomorrow morning for a GP appointment which means watching her do this all night again it’s horrible idk what to do anymore !

We found lactulose not very good but Movical really works. We had the same problem with our 4 year old. Just 1 sachet every day was enough to make her regular again❤️
Hi! I can’t stand the weird smell of any of the blue non bio washing stuff. Is there anything else that can be used for washing newborn? Something that smells a bit better 😬

Hi
I need to stop dream feeding my baby at night when he wakes up. How do you do this or transition? He is mainly breastfed but I’ve started to give a bottle on the night on the last feed before he sleeps

Anyone have a car seat where your toddlers head doesn’t fall forward when they fall asleep??

Anyone else a c section, co sleeping, breastfeeding mama and your body is just in bits? I don’t know if my bed is just uncomfortable postpartum or if it’s my body and cosleeping/breastfeeding positions. I feel like stretching helps a little but my hips and lower back especially are awful, but generally I just feel so achy and uncomfortable most of the time. Is it just me?

I'm curious...when your baby wakes overnight, what is it waking them up? Is it hunger or something else? My little boy (breastfed) only wakes for two nights feeds (which is great!) but wakes himself up after wriggling/flapping about in his sleep every 1.5/2 hours too 😬
