How's everyone handling their LOs overnight bathroom needs?
My LB is 12 weeks, mostly bf (only one bottle a day) and his overnight sleep is a bit all over the place atm. Sometimes he has his usual 2-3 wake ups. Other times he wakes up every 2 hrs for a feed. Regardless, in order to save my sanity I have stopped changing his nappy for every feed and now only change it before bed, once in the middle of the night and once at 6am. I always feel bad waking him up for his middle of the night change but if I don't do it he will definitely leak by the morning.
What are you doing with your LOs nappy overnight? Any advice? Do more changes? Less? Bigger nappy? Tell me all!

I change every feed but baby is only up generally once in the night and early morning so I’ll normally leave that one.
Personally I wouldn’t wake just for a nappy change. I would change when they naturally woke during one of the middle of the night feeds if they’re up every 2 hours

I don't change my boy overnight but he also doesn't wake up, if he did though I'd just change as and when he needed it but always before the feed, I'd either get bigger nappies or I'd let him get upset etc and then feed because they mostly always settle after on the boob but it's up to you, there's no right or wrong as long as they're not getting sore from being left too long etc 😊

I was changing about like you are now. I noticed certain brands held up better too. I think we did huggie swaddlers were my favorite when she was under 9 months. They not only held great but kept pretty dry.

I don’t change during the night unless we’ve had a poop. Otherwise it’s straight before bed and then when he wakes up naturally for the day or most of the time when I get him up to do the nursery run x

I don’t change between 12- 7 unless it’s poo. I use peaches nappy’s overnight and they keep her skin completely dry and comfortable. Never had nappy rash. I use cheaper nappies during the day but peaches overnight are worth there price tag

My LO only wakes once. Has done since birth. I change her midfeed, as I swap her to my other boob for a touch of dessert

We’ve recently bought Pampers for overnight and sized up to size 3. I usually still do one change around 4am but if she’s very sleepy I occasionally skip this so as to not wake her more - she’s sometimes then a bit wet when she wakes around 6.30/7am but more often than not the nappy does hold it and she’s dry. They say it holds wee for 12 hours so worth a try!

My baby is the same i pump during the day and give him my boob during the night (he mainly uses it for soothing lol) and do 4 am bottle feed. Usually I change him before bed, 4 am (when i do my pumping and feed him bottle) and 6 am.
he wakes up when i change him but as soon as i give him the bottle he is back to sleep he doesn’t fuss or stay awake.

I currently swear by Sainsbury's own brand nappy, my girl sleeps through the night now, but I put her in the next size up nappy overnight / she was going a longer spell without a change. So she's a size three in the day and a size 4 at night with possibly some precautionary nappy cream if they have sensitive skin
My little boy (white/black Caribbean) has almost two hair textures, he has quite loose soft curls at the front but then an almost Afro texture in the back which goes wild. I use the only curls products for kids (shampoo, conditioner, detangle spray and styler) but after he sleeps it just goes crazy. It’s super knotty at the back so he doesn’t tolerate any brushing/combing - I only just manage with a fight when it’s wet.
Any tips on handling the back section? Heavy products don’t seem to work well given how soft it is in the front.

My little one is 2y 2m old. She has just all of a sudden stopped napping. Nursery told me they spend half hour with her and she won't sleep and same at home. I'm really worried nursery will stop trying. But she just will not settle down at all all of a sudden. Help please. It's way too early for her to drop the nap!

She’s 14 weeks. Yesterday we decided to try putting her to bed at 8pm (she usually just comes with us at around 10/11). So we bathed, boobed and transferred to bed by 8. We kept the room dark and she slept there for an hour before waking up. I then took her back with me but she continued sleeping until 11. Woke up at 11, had her nappy changed. All happy as can be. Then slept until 3. Breastfed. Nappy changed at 5. Breastfed. Slept until 7, breastfed. Still asleep now at 11am?
Is this normal? She’s still having wet nappies, feeding, etc. should I wake her? She started trying to roll to her front yesterday, so idk if she’s just tired from the workout 😅

It’s my daughter birthday next week and I was thinking about getting her a trike I really like the little Dutch one but then I’m thinking would I actually use it because it’s nearly winter so she’ll be in her pram a lot with foot muff and we don’t seem to go out a lot in pram whilst she’s awake.
Opinions if you’ve got one do you use it or waste of money?

My baby is really congested overnight. She’s always congested - but particularly more snorty after a bottle of Kendamil. She’s primarily breast fed with one bottle of formula a day in the afternoon. Her poops are also explosive and look like this. Does this look like CMPA, so sorry for the photo! Two first poops from two different mornings. Will add the second to the comments.
