My baby is 11 months and currently wants to climb on EVERYTHING 😅 He’s not walking yet, but he pulls to stand on furniture and cruises along the sofa.
I’m thinking about getting either soft play blocks or a Pikler triangle so he can climb somewhere safe instead of the furniture.
Has anyone tried either of these? Which one did your baby enjoy more around this age?

I’d say soft play set as you can build better dens with it as they get older x

Pikler triangle. We got it for my daughter’s first birthday in January and she uses it every single day. It took her less than an hour to figure it out and confidently climb it.
She’s had a soft play set since around 7 months and quickly got bored of it.

Soft play x

Personally, I do the soft play indoors & other climbing toys outdoors. It’s just my personal preference tho, I don’t want to have to dust/clean all those wooden pieces. Our 4yo has both a nugget & a 3pc soft play climber & uses them together, started out climbing on them, now we make forts or different tumble obstacle courses. Outside he has a range of different climbing items & we’re about to make a play set out of 2 giant wooden spindles. We’re always adding more stuff outside & I can just hose those off or wait for the rain to do it, the soft stuff takes like 5secs to wipe off or the cover is machine washable. 🤷🏻♀️

My lo has had the climbing frame set since he was 9m (13m now) and it gets used daily. He’s a big big climber and this has been great. But they’re not for the faint hearted as my boy acts like he’s something out of the jungle on his 🐵 😆
We have a triangle, semi circle and a slide/climbing wall side which attaches to the frames. We can throw blankets over to make dens and you can get cushions for the semi circle to make it into a rocking seat.

bsbe can y please paste the link to that activity cube pleaseee I’ve been looking for one that size!

I had both for my kid and got rid of both because she got bored, but on reflection I would’ve kept the triangle because she would love it now at 3 years old.
