Eating problems

My son is currently one he turns two on May 11th. I have been having issues with him eating we started off with baby food when he was five months approved by his doctor and tried more food when he was six months with him not taking it at all. He used to eat chicken nuggets, french fries, noodles, watermelon, pear, blueberries, guava, bananas I try new things with him all the time but he doesn't eat which concerns me so I cave and give him a snack so at least I know he's eating something. I told the doctor several times about the issue and they said to wait until he's two or that he's just a picky eater. Is anyone else having issues and if so what can I do to help him be more interested in eating and trying different food.

I’ve been told that this is normal when they are little. They are learning eating habits and trying new things. Like doc said you should wait and see. For the time being feed some of his favorite foods or his comfort foods. Keep him hydrated.(water/flavored water(if safe)milk, healthy juice)My doc has told me little ones drink most of their calories. Also asking your doctor about vitamins to supplement some nutrition. Maybe try a toddler milk supplement. I believe the Enfamil brand has one and a few other brands have toddler milk. Just be careful with things like PediaSure(I’m sure that would come up in your research) it can be full of sugar. Hope this helps.

Very confused

My child's nursery has asked me to refill the funding form. Last one was mislaid.
Online it keeps telling me I am NOT illegible for any form of childcare funding, is this correct?
They're 3 and do 12 hours a week (under the free 15 hour funding)
The TYF881-******* code doesn't apply anymore as my child is 3? Do I need any sort of code?
Do I just fill out my form with details and no code is needed, genuinely I am SO confused

Prepping for blackout

I don’t watch the news but my social media is full of people preparing for a blackout. Stocking cupboards and getting emergency essentials.
Who is actually doing this?
My husband said it’s crap and nothing will happen but a part of me thinks what if it does and we have nothing?
We have 2 kids and I would hate if it actually did happen and we had nothing and the shops were empty :(

Potty training

Has anyone else NOT started potty training yet? I feel so much pressure seeing other kids the same age being potty trained but I know my little boy isn’t ready. He used to go and sit on the toilet and doesn’t even do that now. He sometimes tells us when he has pooed but not always. I am off on maternity until May and he doesn’t start pre school till next September so I know there’s loads of time. It’s just hard not comparing

Am I the problem?

Anyone realizing that you’re the problem in your relationship? We have a 6 month old, and since I was pregnant I questioned if I really loved my partner and truly wanted to be with him. He isn’t financially stable, not as healthy as I’d prefer, and I think he’s moody and stubborn. But he has no friends so he stays home and works on his dream which I admire.
Anyways I have caused a lot of drama in our relationship because I think I take out my anger on him.
I feel like I wanna cheat, be with other guys, be single, co-parent…
I even complain to myself about how he isn’t that attractive and I deserve a more attractive man and a rich man lol.
I’m like, am I lowkey a narcissist and selfish and mean!?
Anyone else feel like this… what do you do

Public meltdowns

I know this is a safe space so just going to let it out. my son had a pretty awful meltdown at this fall festival today. He’s only 3 and wanted to get on the bouncy house but we were waiting in line for food. He got so mad and threw my phone, shouting, throwing himself. Everyone was staring it was soo embarrassing. If I were home and he did that I probably wouldn’t think much on it. But the meltdowns in public just feels so judgy and awful. I don’t want to seem as if I can’t even control my own child
