It depends how old they are and how often they are filling their nappies. Every baby is different but they are so handy for other things. I’d buy a good few boxes to start with

Buy a box from Costco. There's always a use for them. Cleaning the kids up, you, things, butts you name it.

For newborn I prefer to wipe down then wash their bottom every time they go #2

3-4 wipes for a poop, he poops between 1-4x a day and we do about 10 diaper changes a day.

But...I mean youre gonna need wipes well past 1, so buy a few boxes ahaha and youll start to figure out on average, how many packs you go through a week.

I don’t wipe for pee only (I find it’s more irritating to the skin) and my baby poops once or twice a day, so I use 4-6 on average.

But it really depends on your babies poop (how many times a day and how messy it is) and if you choose to wipe for pee

Just buy a case 😅 I keep a pack in the living room and a pack in my room and one in the diaper bag just in case .

No wipes,I use baby cloth wipes .
I wash his bottom then pat dry so very few wipes a day.maybe 10

I definitely use over 12 a day. I often use two for a wee already and a poo i can use like 8 😂

I overdo it idc lol I’ll even use it after a bath 😂😂😭😭 just to clean the ear

With my first daughter wipes irritated her skin, so I would only use them for the occasional pee, and usually around three or four for a poop. I’ve continued that with my second daughter and so far she’s never had a rash. She also only poops 0-3 times a day depending on the day. So we probably use less than 12 most days. That being said, depending when you decide to potty train your child, you will likely be using wipes for a couple of years. So there is no such thing as buying too many wipes. Plus, they’re useful for lots of stuff. 😂

We find lidl wipes the best. I think they're 50p a pack and they come out one at a time, rather than a couple. 99% water based too x

At first we didnt use that many wipes but over time we have used them for everything 😂 went from only diaper changes to clean up after meals, myself, the animals (babe threw a sucker and wipes were a quick grab), car seats. If we didnt have time for a bath and had to be somewhere but the kids were playing outside, quick wipe down and we are good to go.

We buy the biggest box we can of wipes and it last us awhile 😊 we also keep a thing of wipes in every room and vehicle

We have an Amazon subscription lol🙈 get sent a big box every few weeks. I use 1-2 wipes for wee and then anywhere from 3 and above on poop depending on how bad it is. I also use our wipes to wipe her down after she’s eaten her meals and tend to use 2 when doing that one for hands and one for her face pending on how messy she is I may use more.

Buy loads. We go through a box of 9 every few weeks and he’s 12 months old. We use wipes A LOT less than when he was newborn. When he was newborn we were buying a pack of 9 every week. Especially if breastfed they poo every 2 hours and they’re not solid so they’re very messy.

You will go through hundreds of packs in the first year so you’ll definitely use them!

You’re going to use a lot of wipes I would say get a case or 2 and some cotton wool just incase. 🩷

I used to have a subscription on Amazon for box of Water wipes (about 12 packs I think?) to come every 7 weeks or so then just adjusted it when they would last longer. I would leave some at my mums house and keep a pack in each bag 😅 x

Wipes are actually the cheaper thing for a baby … 😩 wipe away!

Leaving a stay and play before the tidy up?

I take my daughter to a few stay and plays which are usually 2 hours long. Most of them finish when she would usually be napping and then it will take me a while to get her home and relaxed ready to nap etc. Is it rude to leave early? I think 2 hours is already a long time so I would prefer to leave after 1- 1.5houre but I don't want them to think I'm being rude

Bed sharing mamas - set up??

So I am bed sharing with my baby. It’s the only way we get sleep. She is now practicing standing and is super mobile. I feel on edge that she will fell of the bed.

How do you guys do it? Push the bed against a wall? Have you got some covers on the side . Share all your tips x

Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)

I hate the newborn age

Is it normal to actually hate the newborn phase? We are 8 days old so still very new to this and I’m a FTM. I thought I would LOVE having a newborn baby. I’m so overwhelmed and anxious if I’m getting anything right, if she’s happy if she’s fed if she’s gassy if she’s sleeping enough that I’m just not finding much joy in the newborn stage at all. I feel pretty lonely (even though my husband is the biggest support system and my absolute rock). Finding exclusively breastfeeding tricky and sort of wishing away these early weeks so we can get some sort of routine in place! Anyone else the same?

Co- sleeping 🥰💕

Can I just say to all those co-sleeping mama’s out there…… you’re doing one of the most natural things possible providing security, love, care and attention to not only your babies needs but your own 💕 It is so right yet you are lead to believe it’s so wrong! Why?

Soak in all the love and cuddles whilst they are small as one day they won’t need us like we need them 🥰💕

How can I get enough sleep 😴

My 11 month old has never been a great sleeper. He went to bed at 8:00pm last night. Me and my partner tidied up and went to sleep at 9ish. Baby still wakes 3 times a night and can take a while to resettle. My partner wakes up at 5 for work and he is also very tired.

He often wakes up close to my alarm too (when working). My alarm was set for 6 and baby woke up at 4:30. He only went back to sleep in his cot at 5:30. Meaning there is no time for me to go back to sleep and my day has started at 4:30.

Even when going to bed at 9, I still cannot catch enough sleep to get me through the day. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is hitting me hard.
