My LO is 9 months old and his sleep is terrible!!! We’re lucky if we get a couple hours combined. I’ve decided that we’re going to try the Ferber Method as I’m really at my wits end and have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve always been really reluctant to do it and I’m going to find it really difficult.
Would love to hear anyone’s positive experiences to help give me the extra confidence!
Please only positive. I’m well aware of the negatives, I just feel like I’m out of options

Sleep deprivation at that level is soo hard. We waited until a bit older but tried Ferber and ended up doing cry it out as my son seemed to get more stressed when I went back in. First night cried 45 min, second night 10 min, third night 2 min and slept through since if not ill. If you have a partner or friend to support it’s really helpful as so hard to leave them to cry! You got this! 💪

I did it too - for similar reasons. As above, the first night was 45 mins but it’s gotten better since. Don’t get me wrong, not every night is perfect. Sometimes it does take 10-20 mins. Last night it was exactly 2 mins. I don’t follow the times properly. We do 2,3,4,5,6 and 7, and then stay at 7. Only on the first night did we get to 7 though, we rarely get to 4 now. Most nights are pretty good where she’ll sleep 7-7 but there are nights that aren’t so good. Night before last she was awake 2330-0130 and this morning she woke at 550 😵💫 but that’s just normal baby stuff. I’d say 80% of the time she sleeps through. It’s well worth the perseverance
