What is something you’d never buy second hand and can’t believe people do. For me it’s clearly very worn shoes or mattresses🥴

I always buy underwear and socks new

My cousin got freakin bed bugs from a jacket she thrifted. I won’t do anything with fabric now.

There is no logic behind my answer, as I have thrifted clothing but I would never thrift towels, shower mats, blankets, pillows or comforters. These are also items I don't buy on FB marketplace

Car seat, bathing suits, underwear, mattress

Furniture I'd buy 2nd hand if its in good shape. Clothes no way.

There’s a lot I wouldn’t get second hand but 100% Wouldn’t buy fabric furniture, mattresses or shoes

Wouldn't buy knickers secondhand. Was gonna say underwear but realised I've bought molke bras secondhand.

Any kind of bedding. My sons cot mattress and car seat I bought brand new (mattress for hygiene and car seat for safety)
Other than that underwear.

I’d buy most things second hand apart from bedding, mattress and the very obvious like underwear / bras

Bras, underwear, socks, swimsuits, leggings, bath towels and mats, soft baby toys, and car seats

Underwear, car seats, children's shoes, mattresses, baby bottles
Probably more but they're the main things
Most of our clothes are hand me downs or thrifted

A CAR SEAT!!!

Second hand cups, mugs, plates, bowls! And second hand food appliances e,g toaster, anything to do with food makes me feeel sick even tho I eat out at restaurants so not much logic lol

Underwear, swim suits, furniture and mattress

Mattresses, fabric furniture, clothes that are hard to wash, underwear, swimsuits

Socks , bras , underwear and mattresses and couches .

Wouldn't buy a car seat, mattresses, couch, fabric chair, underwear, bathing suit bottoms etc

My neighbour recently bought a secondhand toilet, I thought that was pretty gross.

haha, that’s a very good point. I guess just seeing them bring this old toilet home and installing it seemed kind of disgusting, but you’re not wrong.

I think mainly socks coz they get gross and linty and a pack of 12 pairs is like $10 anyway my socks are cheap lol.
When I go to a thrift store the first area I zoom to is the shoes lol. I’ve gotten myself some super comfy sneakers and heels for like $10. It’s not super worn out though, they look brand new. Either wasn’t their style or they bought online and wasn’t their size, coz I can’t believe how comfy those sneakers i picked up were. I’ve bought bras and sports bars from thrift stores too. They can be washed. Anything that can be washed I don’t mind buying used. Even bikinis.

Car seat!
