Hey ladies! Anyone else concerned about going back to work and pumping? I go back in two days and I feel so nervous that I won’t produce enough milk. I’ve been EBF for 11 weeks, occasionally I’ve pumped and used my haaka quite a bit..my little one takes a bottle nicely, I’m just so concerned I won’t produce enough while I’m working to cover him the next day or two..then what?? Do I need to have formula on stand by?
Thank you for any and all encouragement and advice you offer 🙏

I was EBF prior to returning to work and I was feeding her at 6:30am and then pumping whatever was left, pumping at 12:30pm and feeding her again at 4:30 when I got home. The rest of the night was the same. My milk quantity didn’t drop and I wasn’t going to pump more than 2x a day. Whatever milk was extra I froze so on days I may make a little less I had back up. If you’re concerned, you can have formula on back up just for piece of mind. You got this!

I would have formula on standby!

I do have a can just in case, that’s a good call. but I’m hopeful my supply won’t dip! He eats quite a bit during the day 😅 so I’m gonna be pumping every 2 hours. Thank you ladies!

You don’t have to pump all day just don’t skip pumping at the same time each day. That created consistency for your milk to drop. Honestly pumping and feeding was the worst part of my post part besides loosing my mind . I refused to do formula and had to pump and extra six bottles daily for the next day at daycare, it nearly took me out .
