Baby low in pelvis

Hi, I’m currently 34+3 wks and have been having bad pelvic girdle pain and tightenings, cramping pains for the past month (triage says it’s from PGP). I had my 34wks midwife appointment today and was told the baby is really low down. I’m barely able to walk around as it’s so uncomfortable and can only waddle. It seems a bit too early to have the baby engaged in the pelvis, has anyone had this and done anything that helped? I’m in so much pain from it, no position is comfortable anymore. TIA!

I am 33 + 1 and in exactly the same pain! I feel like my baby's head is engaged and sitting down today is basically impossible. The only thing I find that helps at all is laying down on the non effected side with a pillow between my legs. Also, getting a tennis ball, putting it on my glutes and leaning against the wall doing small circular movements to release the muscle. My drs prescribed me some codeine to take when it gets too much but have to be careful not to have too many per day as the baby can get addicted and it can cause issues if misused. Sending hugs 🤗

I’m having severe PGP again this pregnancy (had it with my first and was induced at 39 weeks as it got so bad I could no longer lay down), and it’s horrid, baby has been head down from 33+2 and im currently led with a hot compress on one hip, pillows between my legs and I’ve taken paracetamol but still sat here crying knowing I’ve got weeks to go🥲 35+2 today

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
