Bed time with reflux baby

Just wondering if anyone has the same issue, my little boy is three months old now and every bedtime through the night he seems to struggle laying down in his crib he’s continuously sounding sniffly through his throat like he has milk stuck in it but won’t bring anything up which then makes him cough. We’re both getting no sleep either so any tips would be absolutely amazing, he’s on baby gaviscon on his bottles at the moment but doesn’t seem to be helping much.😢

Hi what helped when my girls where baby’s was holding baby upright for 20-30 mins after feeds, then burping baby loads and also checking to make sure the teat flow wasn’t too fast.

If gaviscon isn’t helping it might be worth chatting to your GP/health care Vistor just to review it.

It’s so hard when ones sleeping I hope it eases for you soon 😢

Thank you I always hold him upright and burp him lots after his bottles I’m trying everything but don’t seem to be getting anywhere 😢 I’ve got a doctors appointment but got to wait a few weeks as they couldn’t get me in hopefully get some help from them x

the only other thing can suggest smaller more frequent feeds 🙂 this can reduce how much come back up.

For my little one, we used anti reflux formula, paced feeding, and sitting him up for 20 minutes or so post feeding ☺️

Peace of mind please

I shot up at 4am last night and had the urge to check my little boy who sleeps in a cot next to our bed.
For the first time he has rolled over and was sleeping on his stomach, my heart dropped.
I was so scared that I picked him up to make sure he was okay and he was just sound asleep…

What are we supposed to do if they roll over in their sleep?! He’s almost 6 months old and I’m prettified of him rolling and it being a different outcome if I don’t wake up..

Just need some peace of mind that this is
okay?

Moving 18 week old to her own room

Just looking for some advice really. I know at this age (18 weeks) she will most likely be going through sleep regression BUT I have been thinking for a while now about the time to put her in her own cot.. she’s in a next to me one at the moment and is constantly hitting the sides with her feet and she’s waking up so so much! Has any other mums moved their babies to their own room?

We have the owlet sock and camera so of course would keep an eye on her and I’m planning on sleeping in the room with her to begin with just to see if she sleeps any better. I know it’s advised 6 months due to SIDS but feel as though we would all get better sleep

I don’t really know what to do as me and my partner are EXHAUSTED

P.s she does nap through the day really well in her own bed so she is used to it

How are you BOTH getting sleep with a newborn?! 😴

Hey mamas 🤍

Looking for any advice or tips on how to protect a few hours of sleep for both me and my partner 🙏

We have a 5-week-old who usually wakes around 12/1/2am (depending on bedtime), and then again around 3/4/5am. My partner works from 7am to 5pm usually, so evenings can feel a bit full-on, and nights are quite broken at the moment (which I understand is quite normal!).

We’re combi feeding, as in the baby has expressed breast milk during the day, and we switch to formula overnight.

Would love to hear what’s worked for you from shifts, routines, anything that helped you both get a bit more rest 💭✨

Colic Baby

Anyone else have a colic baby? If so how do you cope with it and get your sleep in? I’ve tried everything under the sun, on top of this he’s cluster feeding like hell.

Baby slept all night

Sorry, I just need to post this... my little boy is 12w5d and he slept through from 9:30-6am, woke for a feed and went back to sleep until 8:30!!! I can't believe it. I was obviously up every few hours checking on him and making sure he was ok, so I didn't get a full nights sleep 🤣 but I'm so pleased for him! 🎉🥳 (not a brag btw, I'm just so pleased and wanted to share)
