I really wouldn't overthink naps. For example; mine would sleep 14 hours straight through a night, so she wanted all her food in daytime hours. Therefore mine napped, but not as much as those poor parents that have babies awake getting food at night. Every child is different

my LO sleeps 10/11 hours at night and i let him nap when he wants anywhere upto 20 mins to 1 hour

My LB usually has 4 naps that are anywhere between 30 mins to 1hr. Usually 30/40 mins. He goes sleep at 8/9pm and wakes up around 6am with 1 night feed.

Mine just dropped a nap so has 3 a day normally but they don’t last longer than 40 minutes, which means she goes to sleep around 7/8pm (bath starting at 6:30/45). Normally has night feeds at 3 and 5 then awake between 7/8am. She has been dropping the 3am feed off and on. Her wake windows are close to 2.5 hours except for her last one if she has started her day early and taken short naps. She used to have a 4th nap but seems to prefer going to sleep earlier instead

It's so hit and miss! I could literally put her down sound asleep, go for a wee and come back and she's awake, or she could be asleep for 3 hours 🙃 but she generally has around 3 naps a day plus extra little naps if we take her in the pram, carrier or car as they make her fall asleep.

3 or 4 naps depending on how the naps are going in the day. She usually has a long nap (1.5-2 hours) in the morning then shorter ones throughout the day

Mine is 5.5 months old, currently on three naps but some days doing two (when the two naps are long ones) so I think we’ve started the transition to a two nap day.
So my husband and I are moving from an 3 bedroom 1 &1/2 bath apartment to a 5 bedroom 1bath house.
Well there is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down stairs with 1 bathroom. The house is kinda small. We have to cool with window units and heat by gas but the upstairs doesn’t have a heat source I have 2 boys and 2 girls this house would give them their own rooms but my husband is so negative. He wants them sharing rooms. But yet I’m home 24/7 with the kids he works night shift and I feel like I don’t get a say.
Also I want to get rid of my daughter’s bunk bed and get them separate beds and he doesn’t want to do that.
We are currently in our 3 bed and my kids are all in separate rooms. My youngest is in our bed my oldest daughter is in her bed and my boys are separated ones in their room the other is in the living room.
My kids are ages 9,8,7,5 I feel like my boys need their own room my daughters need to be separated also they fight constantly
Am I in the wrong for being upset

So it’s 6.35am and baby has slept through the night so obviously I have been waking every 30 mins panicking that somethings wrong and now wondering if I should wake him up. 🤣
He is EBF so my boobs are massive and leaking everywhere but yet the little prince keeps on sleeping. 😴
I really want to go back to sleep but I just know he will wake up the second I get comfy and start to drift off. 😩
Bloody kids!! 🤷🏼♀️🙈

Any nappy recs advice for nappy leaks at night? My 7 month old has just started consistently leaking, I’ve sized up in nappies and tried Aldi and rascals but no luck.
Has anyone had better results with pull ups? He’s just big enough now I think but I wasn’t sure if Aldi pull ups are any good?

My 8 week old is still waking every 3 hours for milk. She strains, grunts and wriggles all night long. Its so loud that I am awake all night. I’ve tried infacol, dentinox, colief. We have changed her formula a week ago. She’s been to an osteopath (who said she was the calmest baby she’d ever seen 🙄) i’m at my wits end. I’m exhausted.

I'm sleep deprived and solo parenting most of the time. And now I can't even sleep after baby has woken me up. I really need to sleep, he will be up soon and I just can't. I'm so tired but can't sleep. What to do?
