The back pain is unreal!!! I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I’m trying to hard to get more rest but my back is always achinggg and pain killers don’t do much. How do I make it better or how can my partner help?

Have your partner squeeze your lower back as if you’re in labor. It’ll help or use a heating pad low heat intermittently
I never had back pain fortunately but I researched my entire pregnancy what to expect and nothing to expect happened lol but I also followed Balanced Families on FB and IG and they are absolutely amazing

Sacral decompression from your partner squeezing with hands a rebozo or a blanket on the hips. Tennis ball is a good massager . Yoga and stretching in the morning and before bed targeting pelvic floor, hips and back, yoga ball and/or peanut ball. There are a lot of videos of YouTube and tik tok. Rest is important but continuing to move your body is as well. I’m a doula and second pregnancy as well

Using a yoga ball can help decompress the back and allow the hips to get some nice movements and stretches if you do figure 8s or a scooping motion. Theres a bunch of youtube videos you can follow along with. Just search prenatal yoga ball exercises.
I highly recommend a prenatal massage too if you can afford it. If not ask your partner to follow a youtube video for a prenatal massage or lower back massage.
Lastly, it’s bit too late to start Physical Therapy with a pelvic floor specialist. PT can really help minimize pain and discomfort during pregnancy. I also highly recommend it for postpartum recovery.
