Today is my due date ...
And baby boy doesn't want to come out just yet. Any encouraging words of wisdom? Im happy he's healthy and comfy beings this is a rainbow baby for me. I had my daughter 16 yrs ago in June and than being 16 yrs old myself and my husband 18 we somehow managed to wait till our mid 20s. It wasn't until 3 years ago I've had a lost every year. Really threw me through a mental spiral.
This pregnancy tho I must say (what's up with all the must says lol ) it has me chill af. Like I have purpose again.
Moms out there, did any of this happen to you in a similar situation?
P.s I lost my mucus plug yesterday, cramping here and there and tightness. Terrible back pain, membrane sweep last Wednesday and nadda.

Are you having any bloody show with the mucous plug loss? I had a membrane sweep at 38 weeks and thought it failed then at 38&5 I had some blood streaks in discharge and a terrible back ache, cramping in my abdomen but not contraction pain, and nausea out of nowhere so I went to go get checked and I was 4cm and 90% effaced. Babygirl came at 38&6 lol.
Labor is different for everyone but your timeline on that membrane sweep and mucous plug line up with mine lol!
Due dates are more of a general guess than a for sure thing. Baby will likely be here when they are ready. But it sounds like things are starting to progress. It could be anytime now! You can do this! Have you dilated any?
My stepdaughter wants to know so badly exactly when she can meet her baby brother but at this point it’s up to him now because I can only give her a time frame guess.
unfortunately there’s no way of really knowing for sure. I’m 40+5 and I’ve been 3-4cm dilated for a month, continually lose pieces of my mucus plug, have had two membrane sweeps, and have contractions that fizzle out into nothing. I also got shots for baby to rapidly develop his lungs at 34 weeks bc they thought I would go into preterm labor. He’s been ready he just won’t come out lol. I have an induction date set for this Thursday
I’m 40+3 today and I have an induction set for Friday. My doctor wanted me to drizzle castor oil on some food but after some research I decided against it. I’ve never done a cervix check so I don’t know if I’m even dilated, but I have lost my mucus plug - over 2 weeks ago! I guess sometimes babies need a little push.. I’ve done everything in the book to try to induce labor on my own.

Fall
Last night at about 3am I had a fall, I’m 29 weeks+2 days pregnant. Thankfully I didn’t land directly on my belly but I did land quite hard on my side. I’ve definitely bashed both my knees quite hard. I’m quite concerned because I don’t know what’s going on with the baby but I do have a scan today at the hospital so they should be able to see if there’s any problems there. Has anyone else fallen during their pregnancy? Have you had any problems because of it?

Not sure how I feel about announcing 3rd baby… any one else felt this way?
So I’m now 10.5 weeks pregnant with 3rd baby. My 12 week scan is booked in for the week after next.
My first two children are twins a boy and girl so most people probably think we’re not going to have anymore. Also my daughter is SEN and non verbal at age 3. Our son had a speech delay but now is a very chatty toddler and has completely caught up 😊.
Anyway I’ve only told my mum and sister that I’m pregnant and no one else knows. I can’t help but feel we will get some negativity with announcing this one.
We don’t ask for help.. never ask for baby sitters. I stay at home with my twins and they go to nursery twice a week and my partner works full time. The only person who occasionally looks after the twins is my mum for the odd appointment and we are ok financially.
The older I get though the more bitter people seem to be in general which I don’t think is personal but people just seem like that these days. We did have some negativity with my twins which was odd as I was 30 and in a stable relationship 😅
How was it when you announced your 3rd? Did anyone else feel this way?

Feeling scared.
I am 39 weeks pregnant. Ive had a baby before but oh my God I'm so nervous about birth. I'm trying to be zen and all chill and just wait for baby to make their appearance. I feel more anxious than first time around. Does anyone have any words of affirmation? Or anything that really helped them. Thank you 😊

Polyhydramnios and bed rest advice for third trimester?
Has anyone else been diagnosed with polyhydramnios in the third trimester and told to rest more? How did you cope with the discomfort and stress, and were you put on bed rest or just encouraged to take it easy?

Where are people going on their babymoon? Is everyone doing it? I feel a bit anxious to go to another country and what if something goes wrong. 🤞

Went for a scan yesterday to see if there could be a chance of getting pregnant and in the smallest bubble ever we see this…..
Have another scan in a week to see how bean is progressing!!
