Are you having any bloody show with the mucous plug loss? I had a membrane sweep at 38 weeks and thought it failed then at 38&5 I had some blood streaks in discharge and a terrible back ache, cramping in my abdomen but not contraction pain, and nausea out of nowhere so I went to go get checked and I was 4cm and 90% effaced. Babygirl came at 38&6 lol.

Labor is different for everyone but your timeline on that membrane sweep and mucous plug line up with mine lol!

Due dates are more of a general guess than a for sure thing. Baby will likely be here when they are ready. But it sounds like things are starting to progress. It could be anytime now! You can do this! Have you dilated any?
My stepdaughter wants to know so badly exactly when she can meet her baby brother but at this point it’s up to him now because I can only give her a time frame guess.

unfortunately there’s no way of really knowing for sure. I’m 40+5 and I’ve been 3-4cm dilated for a month, continually lose pieces of my mucus plug, have had two membrane sweeps, and have contractions that fizzle out into nothing. I also got shots for baby to rapidly develop his lungs at 34 weeks bc they thought I would go into preterm labor. He’s been ready he just won’t come out lol. I have an induction date set for this Thursday
