Is anyone else NOT sending their little one to nursery when they’re 3 and are eligible for funding? Like either keeping them with you if you’re a sahm, with the childminder they’re at or keeping them at whatever other childcare setting they’re at now?
Thanks☺️

I’m having a year off with my second baby and I will be sending my 2.5 year old to nursery twice a week still. 1) so I don’t loose his nursery place & 2) so his routine doesn’t change too much when baby arrives!

I will be sending my little boy when he turns 3 and gets the 15 hour funding. I did the same with my first born just to get them ready for school x

I've kept my child out of nursery and away from childminders too - I've kept her with me or she's been with family whilst I'm working
She's down to go to preschool when she's 3 though to get her ready for going to school and the environment there x

We plan on sending our daughter to nursery at 4 to prep for school. She's with me 2 days a week and and a mixture of my husband and grandparents rest of the week depending on his shifts. We do 3 classes a week as well.
