Nap advice

Hey mums, I need some advice. My 20 month old refuses to nap in the afternoon. He’s been doing this since he was about 18 months. We co sleep, so it’s difficult i have to lie next to him and make sure we’re home, because he won’t nap in the pram, so it can feel quite isolating.

Because we co sleep, he naps in my bed, but he can get off it. If he doesn’t fall asleep, he ends up running around upstairs and pulling at things, which makes it even harder.

Today he woke up at 8:30am, so I wouldn’t usually try him for a nap until around 1:30–2pm, but then I worry he wouldn’t go to sleep at his normal bedtime. I bath him at 7–7:30pm and he’s asleep by 8pm, but he still wakes multiple times in the night for milk as well.

Do I just keep him awake and do bedtime earlier? I’m not sure what to do. I’m feeling really stressed with it.

Personally I’d get him up earlier in the morning. Maybe 7/7.30. Looking ahead to the future he will need to get up at that Tom for school etc.

Is it cheating

My husband just told me that at work he and his male friends/coworkers pinch each others nipples as like a joke, I think it’s inappropriate and it’s cheating in a way and he does not agree he thinks it’s just funny and nothings wrong with it

Standing???

Anyone else’s 7 month old standing up and trying to take steps??? My son can fully stand without support and is now trying to take steps. I feel like it’s too early?…

Excuse the mess, I’m doing a late night deep clean and he’s doing the opposite of helping 😂

Deodorant

Ladies what deodorant are we all using?

Since the sun has finally remembered to exist and we've been going on more walks I STINK. I smell like I've been laying on the beach in the sun covered in oil all day. All just after going for a walk.

I know a lot of people struggle with this postpartum but it's so embarrassing!

I just can't seem to find one that works for me?

Help!?!

5 ounces of formula every 3 hours?

Hi,

My 6 week old is having 5 ounces of formula every 3 hours like clockwork. He is 4&1/2 kg and the doctors are very surprised. Is this normal?

Doctors said a baby of this age should be having 3 ounces. And i should look to reduce the amount but Baby cries after i give him 3 ounces but calm when hes had 5 ounces.

6 week old wont wake for bottle

Hi all, my little one has been unusually sleepy the past few days and has been much quieter. When she is fussing , its not her usual cries and high pitched moans, shes been moaning in a very low pitch which almost sounds like extremely weak cries.

Shes been asleep for almost 4 hours, which is unusual for the day. Usually she gets hungry every 2 hours so ive changed her nappy and tried to wake her about an hour ago and had no luck.

Tried talking to her and stroking her and shes just been a little jumpy but still not woke up.

Is this normal, im worried she may be ill but there arent any other signs like a fever/ high temp/ or sniffles.
