Questioning if I should be concerned

I had an etopic pregnancy last January which resulted in losing my right tube.

We just found out we were pregnant 2 weeks ago when I was 8dpo and since then, my line progression has done well. I ended up getting bloodwork done last week on Thursday which my hcg was 88 which I didn’t know until today after my ultrasound-

Today I am to be 5 weeks and 2 days well..

I had an ultrasound vaginal and stomach, I was told she couldn’t see anything and I was asking if we should be concerned. The nurse then told me what my hcg was on Thursday and said that it is very very early. I told her why we came early was to make sure we do not lose another tube. She said they wouldn’t see it until 6 plus weeks.

I just don’t know if I should be worried about her not seeing a gestational sac- nothing. And I was told to come back in 3 weeks.

Does my hcg of being 88 truly mean I am earlier then what I had thought.

Just looking for some comfort please, I don’t want to go through waves of feeling like everything is going to be alright and then crashing.

My line progression and flo dates I apparently ovulated on the 3rd of March

Should I be concerned. I am thinking to get more labs done to see what my hcg has went up to and hopefully they can tell me if it’s good or not.

Do not wait 3 weeks for another ultrasound. They found my ectopic early and gave me methotrexate to end it and I did not lose a tube. When I next got pregnant they had me do scans at 5w and 3d and saw a gestational sac and yolk, then another early scan at 7 weeks where they saw a heartbeat. I would be very concerned they didn't see anything at 5w2d. You may very well be the unlucky 11% who have a repeat. Advocate for yourself. Keeping your remaining tube is paramount if you want to have a kid naturally, you should have options for dealing with an ectopic if you catch it early. By week 8 ruptures typically happen. Don't let that happen to you, see a different doctor who takes your ectopic history seriously if you need to. I am so sorry.
