Toddler asked how I got pregnant 😂

Hahaha I asked my husband this question about what he would say and he said “mommy and daddy have magical chemicals that when you put them together make a baby!” Like a science experiment in a lab hahaha. Then he’d be like “isn’t that cool? Do you wanna be a scientist?”

If you don’t want to actually get into it with such a small child simple answers work like “my body made another baby” or “we chose to have another baby” lol. Like they’re asking really will accept simple answers. But if you actually want more scientific leaning answers they have lots of books made for small kids.

Keep the answer simple, give little bits of information at a time. Often times, children don't want a full and elaborate explanation and will be satisfied with very little information.

Just be simple and honest and age appropriate. Mummy has an egg in her ovary, which is inside her belly, and daddy put a sperm into the egg, and that grows a baby.
