I’m 37 weeks today (it’s 1:28am) and I’m having reduced movement. I usually feel baby going crazy at this time but he’s not moving much or at all right now. he is usually active between 12-4am. do I wait a little longer or should I ring triage and go in??
everytime I’ve gone in for reduced movement, baby has been PERFECTLY fine. In fact he starts kicking the second i get there. I’m also having a perfect pregnancy, there is no health issues or complications. I feel like this is important information to add as it explains why I’m worrying but not toooo much. I’m sure everything is fine but what do you think?

Try drinking a cold drink rn like a freezing cold drink

This was me with my first, the constant anxiety

Sounds like everything’s normal. But also, what’s the harm in calling and going in?

Better to put your mind at ease! Just go up x

Also they always do that😂😂 the second you walk in the hospital they back to doing flips

Better safe than sorry! I had a few things like this where I felt silly for going in, but it was so much better knowing than just hoping! It will also put you at ease if this happens again, or at least you’ll have a frame of reference. Hoping all is well! ❤️❤️

Drink something cold and sweet and see if he moves around more. If not it doesn’t hurt to go get checked out.

I’m not a doctor but I would say the baby is probably ok, but if u really feel in ur gut that u should go then go🤍 trust ur mom instincts

Try rubbing your lower belly with your nails gently, it use to help my baby make a movement. Idk if his foot was there or what, but he would react to me running my nails across my belly. If you’re super worried it wouldn’t hurt to go just so you can get piece of mind too.
nvm everyone he’s officially beating me up in there again🙄😂now I feel silly for even making this post and I’m so sorry for taking your time too but thankyou very very much for the comments and reassurance. I appreciate you all. and thankyou I think the drink did it haha

You should get yourself a fetal doppler! I had one with my first pregnancy and every time I felt like he wasn't moving as much and got anxious I would pull it out and find his heartbeat and I felt so much better!❤️

I hear you. I was always super worried too. But i had reduced movement towards the end of my pregnancy because baby has less room later on so sometimes theyre not as active cause its getting tight in there! But it doesnt hurt to call and ask or even get checked out if youre really worried or havent felt any movement at all. I liked having a doppler for my pregnancy, even though its not super accurate it helped with my anxiety to hear the baby moving and the heartbeat.

Go in for peace of mind. 🙏🙏🙏
Had twelve week scan today, baby is due 3rd April. Baby was bouncing round none stop 🤣

I'm sitting in maternity triage and feeling so upset. Ive had no high blood pressure throughout my pregnancy and now it's high and if there is also protein in my urine it's recommend I have a induction at 39 weeks.i had induction with my first birth and it's something I really did not want. I'm 38 weeks at the moment. Does anyone have any good induction stories or anything to recommend that will help me 😭

Hi everyone, I'm a first time mum and currently 36+5.
Went for a growth scan the other day (first scan I've had since 20 weeks) and even though growth is fine I found out my baby is breech despite being told she's head down at every appointment since 28 weeks.
I've opted for a planned C-section as I didn't like the risks with the ECV and the doctor said it's unlikely she'll move herself since it's my first pregnancy.
I'm fine with the idea of changing my birth plan from a natural birth but I'm a bit late to the party of researching post partum stuff for a C-section and anything I should be doing to prepare before hand or things I need to take to the hospital that would be useful specifically for a C-section.
If anyone has any advice, I would very much appreciate it as this change of plan means I'm only 2 weeks away from meeting my baby which is quite scary and I'd planned post partum for a natural birth 😅

Can someone share their story on a scheduled C-Section experience? I had a last minute emergency C-Section with my 1st born so I’ll be having a scheduled C- Section for my 2nd in February 2027. How was that process like? How many days did you spend in the hospital etc id love to hear it all :)
