Im due to have my 2nd by elected csection on the 13th april too 😊 this is my first section delivery, ive been told elected sections are really calming and straightforward as they arent rushing against the clock x

Just had my second section this one was elective rather than the first one being emergency, I felt the exact same I was so scared and nervous about it, but this time was absolutely brilliant, was calm at my pace and so supportive by hospital staff was easy best decision I made

I was in the same boat, my elective was so relaxed compared to my emergency one. Everyone comes to talk to you before hand so you can ask them questions and know what’ll happen once in the room! I’d happily have 10 thousand more electives! Good luck girly!♥️

I’ve had 2 planned and they were by far the best experience! Better than my first unplanned/non-emergency c-section.

So much more relaxed. My husband was able to be in the OR for my planned c-sections, unlike my first one - he wasn’t allowed.

My 3rd one (Feb. 23rd), was the best one. I knew what to expect. I was still anxious. But my nursing staff and OB were the best. They all calmed my nerves. Talked me down and through it. I wasn’t new to the experience, it was just different this time - we had 2 other littles at home, instead of 1. My world was changing (as much as theirs was too).

Bottomless Pit

I had my 2nd baby on March 8th, and I AM A BOTTOMLESS PIT. Absolutely ravenous. Way hungrier than I ever was while I was pregnant! Tell me I'm not the only one 🥲🙏

Grateful I'm producing a ton of milk, though! Way more than my pregnancy, I need to make more space in my freezer 😅

When did you go into labour?

I'm 35 weeks and totally freaking out. I feel like baby is going to arrive anyday. So I'm kinda looking for people to comment 37 weeks plus 😅 so I can chill out

Over it.

I have officially made it further in this pregnancy than I did with my first. I will be 38 weeks on Sunday and 12 days today until we meet our newest little addition via c section. Who else is over it and ready for a DRINK!!!! being pregnant with a toddler is not for the weak.

Starting Zoloft postpartum!

Has anyone had experience starting Zoloft postpartum? I just got prescribed it and tomorrow will be day 1. I’m honestly pretty nervous to start, but hopeful it will make me an even better, more present, mom. 🫶🏼

Gestational Diabetes

Anyone else been diagnosed? I had my GTT test on Monday and was told the hospital would call if I was positive but I’ve still heard no call from them. I had a midwife appt two days later and she told me that I had indeed tested positive but I’m wondering why the hospital themselves haven’t contacted me if that was the case? Maybe I’m just in denial 🤷‍♀️ but this midwife was really incompetent because she couldn’t find baby’s heartbeat and made me panic which makes me think I can’t trust her 🥲
