Hi, anyone else in this group feel like their child would be so ready for school this year but obviously they can’t start until 2027 cos of being an October baby?! My boy is so bright and I worry when he does start school he will be left behind as teachers etc will be dealing more with younger ones. He goes to a childminder and is thriving there but I feel he is ready for more! Should I integrate him into a nursery too? Just a lot of worrying on my part, anyone else feel the same?

October baby too & very forward, we’ve just moved her to A school nursery this year and we have bar far made the best decision for our little one. X

My little one is in a school nursery! She does half days all week as they get the 15 hours funded x

My son is 5th oct 22 baby and he started nursery in January he will finish this year and then obviously do next year and then I plan to keep him on there for reception/as his primary school.

My daughter has been in nursery but we have decided to move her to a pre school attached to a school from next term. The nursery has been great so far but she’s getting bored and needs more stimulation/ activities, not just play all day like she does now

I am so happy that we can just play, relax and everything is simply fun for another year. I am not waiting for those early mornings and chaos and homework for parents 🫣😅 he goes to the nursery in the afternoon atm.
