For kindergarten age kids, is it better to put them in one care program for the whole summer where they will be with the same group of kids, or put them in weekly camps that will have some overlap but mostly be a new group of kids each week?

I'm wondering that

As someone who was in summer camps since they were 6, different groups is very exhausting for young people

Definitely same kids all summer. I think it's an easier adjustment and allows them to form friendships.

Daycare over the summer (one program). My daycare does it by “camps” but it’s same kids all summer maybe +/- a few.
I think it’s usually cheaper to do it that way like a bulk deal type thing.

My son does better with the same kids consistently
My daughter handles both well

I don’t have my kids in camps all summer (SAHM), but I’ll put them in half day camps for things they’re interested in for a week at a time. No issues last summer for both and no issues for my oldest the summer before that.
