Baby movements

I’m 24 weeks today and I’m struggling to work out a pattern with my baby’s movements!
I can feel them move, more at night and not a lot when I’m working, but I’m not sure what the right amount is.
Is there a knack to it that I’m missing or am I still too early for them to be consistent?
I downloaded the kick counter app but I’m not very good at logging things 🙈

I don’t think you need to worry about a movement pattern until 3rd trimester! Because some people don’t even start feeing them till 24 weeks x

I’m 24 weeks and 5 days, I haven’t started tracking movement as some days I’m more active so baby is less, then some days I do nothing and there going crazy all day and night.

Im roughly just trying to work out times in the morning/ afternoon for now, as long as there kicking during the day when your rested there okay xx

I think you need to start noticing a pattern between 26-28 weeks and you won’t be able to feel them move as much when your working if your active because when you’ve moving about your body is basically rocking the baby to sleep and that’s why they are more active at night when your relaxing so try not to worry x

I am 23 weeks with anterior placenta so feel things occasionally and more to the "outskirts" of where the placenta will be, so lower around the bladder or sideways from my belly button. I feel baby occasionally when I wake up and when I'm going to bed or watching TV at night, mostly when I rest. I do feel them sometimes after I eat, maybe belly gurgles wake them up. Definitely not big enough yet and established to count kicks for me.

Moving puts them to sleep. If you're active they're more likely to sleep. Also I think and as per the books I've read and as per my midwife, the movement pattern from 3rd trimester is what needs to be monitored. ☺️

Would you take your almost 4 yr old to a birthday party at an indoor play place during spring break, with a 10 week old baby?

I know it will be crowded as heck since it’s during spring break. I’ll be holding my 10 week old the whole time but nervous that we might get sick from being inside with all those people for so long

Hormone drip

I’m being induced on Wednesday, with my first baby I was induced but I can’t remember if I had the hormone drip as I was so out of it from gas and air and pethidine.

Can I refuse it this time? As I’ve heard it makes contractions more painful, or can I say if I do need the hormone drip, I will need an epidural can the 2 coincide?

Breech or Head down

How can I tell if my baby is still breech? At 31 weeks she was completely breech and I’m unsure on how to tell if she’s flipped head down or not?

christening/naming ceremony

did anyone have a christening or naming ceremony for their little one? what would you recommend? my boy is 2 months old so i’m not thinking right this second but i want to do something for him. i was baptised as a baby although i don’t follow a religion as of current. it will be my family and friends attending as the father isn’t involved, but that still adds up to a pretty decent turn out. what was everyone’s experiences? tell me everything!
