I’m asking because alot of people I saw have STRONG feelings towards wanting it to be taught. Is religion the same? Just curious.

I think religion should be taught. I went to a catholic convent school and think it’s important to learn about other faiths. It’s important when learning about other countries. It’s important as part of history. And teaches us to be understanding of peoples differences and respect them as we are a multicultural society and it’s interesting.
Personally I don’t feel we need to “learn” about LGBT. I think it’s an important part of sex education. It’s important for children to understand that families are all different when doing things like Mother’s Day cards ect. It’s also an important part of history when covering Nazi Getmany for example. My daughters school dressed in rainbow colours for pride day and they’ve mentioned it being pride month however don’t think my 9 year old understood as she thought it was a month about being proud of herself! She refused to believe me when I corrected her.

All religion (including atheism and agnosticism, etc) should be taught. The spectrum of human sexuality should be taught. The diversity of families should be taught. No one religion or one sexuality or one way of thinking should be taught alone.
I’m disturbed but the other poll that the majority say lgbqt shouldn’t be taught.

Not in public schools probably, but I like the option to send your kid to a school that has your worldview and faith
